(Warning: This short story will have strong language and blood and gore)
Today's a beautiful in the treeless area of what Sweetheart calls the land, Heart Stone. It's been about a month since the creation of the universe. King is walking around the forest that's nearby when he noticed the same treeless area where he and Cream met. The flowers that were right there are as beautiful as ever. He smiles at them then continues to walk around.
While he's walking around the place, he noticed a mother and daughter carrying something. He just stands there. Wondering what it could be. Both of them set it down on a stone placeholder that she made a week before.
The daughter, Eka, breaks the silence, "Oh mom. I hope King will enjoy this."
"I know. You did a great job on it. I'm sure he'll be very proud of you."
King makes a response, "Well show me then."
Both turn around and see him twelve feet behind them. They face him with a smile.
"Oh. Hey King. That was great timing. Since you're here, I suppose I should show you what I made."
She walks towards the mysterious object that was placed down as she grabbed the cloth and pulls it out. It was a glass cross. She wanted to make one as a memory from her. King walks up to it and observes with amusement. Goes around it, then stands in front of it. He looks at her with a smile.
"Eka. I love it. This looks amazing."
"I'm so glad. I spent a whole week making this. That reminds me, I should do the same for the other gods."
She thinks, "Let's see. You're the leader. We also have Lady, Cream, and... What's the other one's name?"
"Sweetheart."
"Her. I'm going to look forward to making one for them."
"Can't wait."
She has her hands behind her back, "Well. I got nothing else to do here. I'll be getting to work."
The mother, Sadie, responds, "Yeah. I even have to deal with things at home."
Both of them walk off while Eka looks behind her, "Bye King. See you later."
As they head home going about their own thing, King watches them. When they're nowhere to be seen, he looks at the cross. All the details that was put in it. He can tell how much she takes pride into it. After a while of looking at it, he walks off. Off to stroll around the forest like he was meant to do.
Not long after he left the cross alone, Lapis shows up. She's strolling across the woods just like what King's doing. It wasn't long before she came across the cross. She has no idea why it's there, but she proceeds to check it out. As she looks around it, she spots a stick.
Although she wanted to continue to look at the cross, she decided to play around with it instead. Without realizing it, since she was touching it, it tips over when a loud crashing sound can be heard. She instantly stopped. Didn't move a muscle until footsteps can be heard. She turns around and sees the cross destroyed with King on his knees, horrified with the damage.
Lapis now scared of what she's done, she continues to stand there. King now seeing what happened, he burst into flames. She gasps to horror. Now knowing how much she fucked up. He stands up then looks at her.
She became more terrified as she got on her knees, "I'm so sorry King. I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. I was going to play with the stick that I saw when it tipped over."
He instantly yells at her, "DON'T YOU DARE LIE TO ME!!!" She gasps and starts shaking.
He continues, "I KNOW FOR A FACT IT DIDN'T JUST TIPPED OVER LIKE THAT! I WOULDN'T BE SO UPSET AT YOU IF THAT WERE THE CASE!!!"
