Cold...

(This short story is a rewritten version of the original deleted 2019 (?) story.)

Mi-Chan and Principal Love decided to have their date together after school. They want to go to a forest that they've never been to before. As they're walking, they stumble upon a cave. They stood there in curiosity. Wondering what they should do. Should they go in? Should they not?

"Say. This looks like a cave. But where could it take us?"

"Maybe we should go and see it for ourselves."

"Yeah. I want to see."

They went in there. Before they do, they set down their school bags and get out their name tags to put on them for people not to take. Both then went further into the cave. What they don't know is that it would be their big mistake. At one point, they managed to reach far into the cold, windy ice cave. How does a cave like this have wind, though? That's because the Heart Gods one day want to do something that stands out from all the other ice caves that people can go to. Really, Cream did that. Both of them are hugging each other shivering. They managed to get themselves lost and have since been there for a while.

"I-I-It's so c-cold in here. I w-wanna go h-home."

"And w-windy. Let's get o-out of here."

Both of them ran their way in the direction they thought they came from. Thankfully, they were going the right way. However, it will be a while before they can get out of there. As they're running, Mi-Chan faints, with Principal Love freaking out.

"MI-CHAN! MI-CHAN!" He instantly picks her up and continues to run to the exit.

After a while of running, he was able to make it out. Close to fainting too. He grabs both of their bags and makes his way home. Inside the house, he was tired. Barely be able to hold her any longer. Whisker was in the kitchen, and went to see him. She was scared for him and rushed over.

"MISTER LOVE! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU TWO?!"

He's shivering. Couldn't even respond. He gave Mi-Chan to her before he fainted.

"MISTER LOVE!!!"

She puts Mi-Chan on the couch, then rushes to pick him up and put him on the couch next to her. Then she gets a heating blanket, places it over them, and turns it on to the maximum heating setting. Now rush back to the kitchen to make a hot water bottle for the both of them. Thirty minutes later, she's on the couch watching over them. Then, Mi-Chan slowly opens her eyes.

She sees Principal Love still passed out when she tries to wake him up, "P-Principal... Love." She was immediately met with a cough.

Whisker seeing that she ended up falling ill, metal hands came down and grabbed her to change her clothes. After less than half a minute, she was brought back to the couch. She's shivering under the blanket as Principal Love wakes up. He sees that she's cold and hugs her.

"Oh Mi-Chan. Did you fall ill? I'm sorry."

As he's hugging her, he notices that Whisker's on the couch. He looks at her with her looking at him the whole time. Knowing he made her worried, his eyes are now away from hers. She put her hand on his forehead and became more worried.

"Oh Mister Love. You're still freezing."

Metal hands come down and take him to change his clothes. After less than half a minute, he was brought back to the couch. She gives him and Mi-Chan a comforter for them to snuggle with. It finally got Mi-Chan to stop shivering. She's still hugging him but she's getting warmer.

"Would you like me to make you some hot chocolate? Maybe it'll warm you up some more."

He was hugging her not looking at Whisker. But he heard her.

So he responds looking at her, "I would love some. I know Mi-Chan would love it too."

"Alright. Don't go anywhere, okay? It'll be done in a couple minutes."

She went to the kitchen to get started on the hot chocolate. Now that she's not in the room, he pays attention to Mi-Chan again. She's hugging him, trying to warm him up.

"Are you any warmer?"

After just looking at her, he responds to her smiling, "I am."

Since they're waiting for some hot chocolate, they spend their time snuggling with each other. Staying warm after their unintentional visit to the ice cave. Let's hope they get better soon.
