In a fair and lovely land, there were two young farm lads. Twins named Anakin and Carmine Skywalker.

The twins lived in a little cottage on Tatooine Farms with their mother Shmi, who loved both her boys very much and took great care of them. They didn't have much, but they were a very happy family. And the twins each had a special talent. At age five, the twins discovered they had special powers they'd heard stories about. Powers over a special magic called the Force.

However, neither knew yet how to control them properly, though they dreamed of doing big things with them. Shmi once told her sons that their father was actually a brave warrior called a Jedi-Teer. But, he had not been able to see them, as Jedi were forbidden to form attachments of any kind at the time Shmi was expecting the twins.

The twins hoped they would one day meet their father. And Shmi promised them that when they had enough money, she would take them to the kingdom of Naboo to see where their father grew up, and maybe they would meet him.

But then one day, tragedy struck. A gang of beings called Tusken Raiders attacked the farm, burning the cottage and the barn. Shmi managed to get her boys onto a craft to get to safety, but their mother didn't make it out.

The twins were devastated by the loss of their beloved mother. They had nowhere else to go and no one but each other to rely on.

For days, the twins travelled alone until they came upon the kingdom of Naboo, a beautiful land that was said to be where dreams came true, and warriors called Jedi-teers roamed.

The Jedi-teers were a special kind of musketeer unlike any other. Rather than ordinary metal sabers, they used swords of light called lightsabers, and had powers over the Force. To be part of the Order was an incredible honor and privilege. But, the twins weren't sure they would be welcomed into the order.

Anakin and Carmine roamed the streets alone, their clothes dirty and ragged, and their legs aching from walking for so long after their craft broke down 10 miles away.

"What are we gonna do?" Carmine asked.

Luckily, the two kids had a little pouch with their allowance money in it. Unfortunately, it was only enough for a couple small meals.

"Well, we gotta eat something." said Anakin, looking into his pouch.

The kids looked around as they happened to come by a marketplace, where as luck would have it, there was lots of fresh fruit being sold as well as bread.

Anakin and Carmine got themselves a little baguette to share and some jogan fruits, and they sat on some crates they came across to rest and eat their food.

"We'd better ration our food until we can find somewhere to live and get work." Anakin said, placing some of their food into a bag.

After a while, the twins got up and looked around for any place they could possibly work. Unfortunately, no one in the marketplace was looking to hire a couple of nine-year-old kids, even though they were both pretty cute. Some were even heartless enough to say no when the twins both gave their sad puppy-eyed looks, and told them to "go back to the orphanage!".

"Now what do we do?" Carmine said, tears in his eyes. "I don't wanna go to an orphanage! We might never see each other again."

"We're not going to an orphanage." Anakin promised. He removed Carmine's glasses and wiped his tears away. "I promise you that."

Carmine put his glasses back on, and Anakin took his brother's hand.

"We just gotta stick together." said Anakin. "Mom said our dad was a musketeer. If he's here, maybe we'll find him."
