Jedi Storytime: The Three Jedi-Teers

A Secret Plan

In a dark room, there sat a figure in a dark cloak sitting in a throne. He did not look the least bit pleased today.

You see, this figure had a secret plan for the kingdom of Naboo. A plan to steal the throne from the Naberrie family. With Sola abdicated and the king and queen gone, that only left one heir in the way. He had a big scheme in mind to get Padme out of the way, but he needed to ensure no one else got to her before he could.

"I assure you, Darth Sidious." said another Weequay, the captain of the pirate clan. His name was Hondo Onaka. "My men will handle the job just fine."

"You had better hope so, Hondo." said the figure, Darth Sidious. "Your pirates' incompetence nearly blew my cover recently. The Jedi-teers cannot discover me."

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

"Enter." Sidious bellowed.

The door opened, and in came one Weequay.

"Uh... hello there." the pirate said nervously as he entered.

Sidious closed the door with the Force.

"Only one shows up... that does not look good. Does it?"

"Where are the others?" Hondo asked.

"Well, Captain... the others got caught... but we did as we were assigned and dropped the safe on the princess."

"WHAT?!" Hondo and Sidious said in unison.

"You idiot! I didn't say 'Drop a safe," Hondo scolded. "I said, 'Drop your incompetence and keep the princess safe!"

"Oh, well then that's good, 'cause we missed her." said the pirate, slightly relieved.

However, both Weequays found themselves held in a Force-choke.

"You have failed me for the last time!" Sidious growled.

Sidious choked the other pirate to death, but dropped Hondo, leaving the captain gasping.

"Leave this kingdom and never return unless you wish to suffer the same fate as your friend." Sidious said.

Hondo was ruthless, but he wasn't stupid. And he wasted no time running out of the lair as fast as he could and getting his keister out of Naboo, along with the rest of his pirate crew.

"LIEUTENANT REX!" Sidious called.

"Yes, sir?" said a clone in maroon armor. This clone had a shaved haircut of blonde hair.

Sidious knew if he wanted tabs on the Jedi-teers, he needed someone on the inside, and out of all clones, he chose Rex as his lieutenant.

"Listen closely, Lieutenant. I have a plan, and it is not to kill Princess Padme, but to kidnap her." Sidious explained. "The coronation is less than one month away. The law clearly states that in the event all heirs are unavailable to ascend to the throne, the kingdom shall go to the royal family's most trusted advisor."

Sidious pulled back his hood, revealing Captain Sheev Palpatine underneath it.

"That is me."

"How exactly do you plan to do that when no one can keep an eye on her without almost getting her killed, and others who want to ransom her or her son come along?" Rex pointed out.

"Trust me, Rex. I have it all under control. Get Count Dooku on the transmission."

"Right away, sir."

However, a machine started beeping, indicating someone was calling. Rex answered it.

"Lieutenant Rex speaking." Rex froze and sounded the alarm for Sidious, as it was the princess who was calling.
