22 : all of sudden

"Heeseo, how's the paper just now?" Jake came to her table with some snacks on his hand.

"Quite fine. Thankfully, I had revised about the topic last night." She accepted the snack that had been opened by Jake.

He carrased her head all of the sudden, caught her off guard. "You will doing well. I know you're the best."

Heeseo slightly blushed by his action lately. "Thank you. Same goes to you."

Eunyoung sneakily walked inside her mother room and searched for something on the laptop anxiously. 

"This is it!" She found the file that she been looking for. She looked throughout the names and saw their result for the first trial.

"She gets the first place again? Are you not tired? "

She saw the result already neatly printed on her the table. She looked at the result again and typed something on the keyboard. Sound of printed paper can be heard before she crumpled up the previous paper and brought it to her room. 

"Surely, mom will not notice it."

"Let me get the chance too."

"I am sick of being compared and pressed by my mother because of you."

"Students. I have your result for your trial in my hand." Mrs.Hwang announced, grabbing the students attention.

Students started to anxious as soon as they heard about the result announcement.

"Kim Haru."

"Jeon Yoreum."

"Bang Yedam."

"Jo Eunjoo."

One by one, the students name being called. Heeseo started to feel anxious and worry if her grade will drop.

"Suprisingly, Lee Heeseo. You're on third place this time. Try again,dear."

"Third? Did I hear it correctly?"

"Impossible."

"We have a new first place student this time. It is between Jake and Eunyoung."

"Congrats to....."

"...Yoo Eunyoung. You're on first place this time." The teacher gave her result and everyone was cheering for her.

"Looks like the princess lost her throne." They continue talked about her at the back of the class.

"The game become more interesting isn't?"

Heeseo was nearly crying once she saw her grade on the paper. How can she failed on her chemistry? 

"Eunyoung, congrats to you. The rest, try again and never give up."

Eunyoung looked at her result on the paper proudly. She then averted her attention on Heeseo who was looked miserable. A smirked plastered on her face as she got what she want.

"It's fun to see actually."

Another slapped hit her face.

"I told you to study. Why you're so stubborn? How can you failed on your chemistry? Is it too hard."

"I'm asking you right now. Don't test my patience." Her mother boiled into anger when she saw Heeseo result. She could not hold herself and vented her anger on Heeseo.
