33 : the letter

Jake walked to the park with a heavy heart as he could not process what happen just now. He felt her world was falling apart and lost the spark in his life. 

He hoped that he could spent more time by her side eventually the police had to bring her go. After a persuasion on him, he finally let her go and walked without any direction until he found himself at the park, where they belong to meet.

The tears that he hardly try to hold on finally reached to the ground. He could not hold the feeling anymore as he felt numbness to see the lifeless soul. He just lost somenone that bring spark and motivation to him.

The bag that he gave still in his grip. He didn't have the chance to see her use the bag and now the owner was nowhere to be seen. 

Jake decided to check inside of her bag with a mixed feelings. The first thing he saw was her phone with a numerous missed call from him.

Next, he saw the flower clip that he gave before the college enterance test start.

Then, he found an envelope placed at the corner of the bag. He opened it only to see a two pages of paper handwrite by her.

Hi, Jake. It's me, Heeseo!

I want you read this until the end. I know it has a lot of words which you hate the most.

Jake,

You bring back my happiness, you did give me the whole universe, but I was the loser. I almost give up on myself but you always behind me. 

You always here for me through thick and thin.

You told me to not give up and I managed to go through everything because of you.

 Thank you for coming to my life even we met by coincidence.

I want to always be with you. You really give me the comfort and warmness that I never felt before.

You give me the butterflies.

I would rather be with you forever than my own family. No, I will only take Heesa to bring along. That little cupid.

We become closer after being a classmate. I was embarrased to meet you again that time because of the park incident. 

But now, I am not ashamed anymore.

Thank you for being the only one who wish me a birthday when I'm the lowest. I thought no one would wish me but you make it so special to me. That's why you ignored we the whole class.

The cake, the gift and everyhting you prepared for me.

Also, keep continue on chasing your dream to be a lawyer. I will support you no matter where I am.

I held the urge very long to told you those three words but yeay! I finally say it to you after the test.

Surely, I have a lot of thing to tell you but you will get tired by listening so I come with this letter.

Again, his tears would not stop falling from his eyes. His heart clenched so much during read her letter.

"You lied."

"You told me that you want to always be with me but you left me alone."

"I was about to spend my whole birthday night with you but you are gone."

"I hate it so much. Now I'm hating my birthday." he hit his chest a few times as guilt and regret could be felt.

He looked up to the sky with his teary reddened eyes and heard a thunder before it was started to pour.

He scoffed, "Are you crying too? Can't believe it after you left me alone here."

"Hoping that you will always with me but you go first. Fuck to whoever the cause of it."

His tears were already mixed with the rain droplets from the sky. He was drenched alone at the park with only a dim light from the street.

"Hope you always be good there, found the things that will make you happy."

"I'm here will always looking on you who are up there.''

"Hope there's another Jake Sim there that will take care of you."
