Heeseo woke up lazily from her bed and saw a red mark on the calander placed at the table beside. She wondered if the day will stay the same or it's on the other way.

She hurriedly securried to the door without taking a glance or bid a goodbye to her mother. No matter what, she was dissapointed to her mother unfair's. Last night, she came to her room to ask for some money. She could not even know why her mother desperately wants money.

It showed almost seven an half hour. Only three minutes left before the school gate would be closed. Luckily, she managed to get in before it closed.

She walked through the hallway and realized, it's not the same anymore. In the past, she used to get gifts and presents from the other student either her junior or her senior but it's no longer happen in the meantime. She knew everyone was ignoring her and she did not get the same treatment anymore. She's a loser she thought.

Heeseo arrived in front of her class and there was no suprise that she usually get. Back then, when she was loved by everyone.

She sighed, "It's not the same anymore."

After the class ended, she decided to go to the school rooftop. If she went home, nothing will be happened as she did not hope any suprise from them.

As usual, she let her legs hanging in the air as the cold breeze hitting her face. She had no intention of going home nor spends her special day with her family. No cake or present to her moreover never held even a small celebration party for her since she was a kid. All the good treatment went to her siblings and slightly she envied them.

The sun was about to set yet Heeseo unintentionally fell asleep at the rooftop. Her body was leaned to the wall with her hair become messy as hit by the strong winds.

The watch on his hand continuously being looked as he could not wait for any longer. He kept wobbling his legs as he worried if his planned will be ruined or unsuccessful.

"One hours left. I still do not complete everything yet."

He checked up for the last time, make sure everything was completed and did not miss anything.

"Wait, I almost forgot about it.'' he rumagged through his bag and found it.

"The candle!" he placed the candle carefully on top of the cake before he light it up.

"A junior said the she was at the rooftop. Hope this will suprise her," Jake walked to the rooftop while held the cake on his hands. He also brought some present that he bought the day before.

He opened the door and spotted her small body leaned to the wall with her eyeslids closed. Under the dim light from the street and the moon light, he could see her peacefully sleep.

"You're sleeping here? I just about to-" he stopped talking when her body moved.

"Nevermind. I will wait until she awakes," he placed the cake on the table near and the candle immediately off when a strong winds hit.

Jake stared her sleeping state, his long eyelashes, a mole under her left eye and her pink chapped lips. Her eyes began to flutter open and he quickly went to grab the cake.

"Happy birthday, love,"

Heeseo with her eyes half-closed shocked to see Jake in front of her.

"Suprise for you!"

"Oh, Jake. How long you've been here?"

"Thirty minutes I guess?"

Her eyes widen, "You wait for me that long? Why you don't just wake me up?"

"I don't have the heart to wake you up. It's not that long actually. I would rather stared into your beautiful face for that long than wake you up,"

Her heart fluttered by his words. She didn't mind if he wakes her up though. Somehow her eyes took a glance of the cake in his hands.

Happy birthday my love, Lee Heeseo, she chuckled upon reading it.

"Wait, I will light up the candle first," he took out the lighter from his pocket and light up the candle.

"You prepared all of this?"

He nodded, "Quick, make a wish before the candle goes out."

Heeseo clapsed her hands and closed her eyes before make a wish. Then, she blowed the candle and clapped her hands.

"Feel good?"

"More than good,"

"Also, I have something for you too,'' he took out the present from his bagpack and handed out to her.

"Open it," she opened the wrap of the box and shocked to see a beige keith and charles handbags inside.

"Jake....it's too expensive,''

"My mom suggest it to me so I took it. Everything for you Heeseo,"

Heeseo closed the box and handed back to him. "Why? You don't like it? I will buy another for you."

"Heeseo shooked her head, "I can't accept it, Jake. It's too expensive and I had to-"

" Just accept it as an apprecation gift from me. You're worth more than this." she had to accept it half-heartedly as she worried that it was burdening Jake to buy an expensive handbag.

Little that she knew, this is the first time he gave a gift and celebrated their special day other than his own mother.

"Let's eat the cake. Here is the spoon,"

"Here's one bite. You must haven't eat anything yet," Heeseo let herself fed by Jake.

"Heeseo, another bite," she shooked her head, telling she had enough. Jake did not give up and give an airplane ride to the cake before entered her mouth.

"Good girl," Jake patted her head like a baby.

"You have some too Jake," she took the spoon and let Jake had a bite too.

"It has a lot of cream!" She quite dislike the creamy flavour and removed a little from the cake.

"This is the use of it,'' Jake purposely smeared the cream on her cheeks and made her startled.

"You just start a war, Jake," she stood and took the cream before chasing after him.

"Catch me if you can."

"It's not fair when it only on me. You must have too!"

They began to run around the rooftop with cream in their hands.
