Minju runs across the campus, one hand carrying her laptop, the other holding onto her tote bag. "I'm so going to be late!" she quickly pushes the glass doors, dashing down the hallway.

Someone obviously overslept, thinking it was a weekend when she has an important presentation today.

She worked day and night on her psychology hypothesis. It only takes a second ring of her alarm for her to be running like a boar being chased by a cheetah.

Luckily, she managed to reach just a minute before the period starts. She's not risking another demerit for being late.

She puts everything on the table, combing her wind-blown hair.

The professor starts taking down the attendance while she takes the time to calm down. She really needs to work out more.

"Okay, everyone. Please take your lunch and come back for the presentation. Everyone is to stay till the last person finishes."

The class whines, thinking they could head home after being done with their own parts.

Minju closes her laptop, sliding it into her bag just to realise—her skirt ripped.

It created a slit, almost too dangerous and inappropriate for presentations.

As if things could get any worse than almost being late, and having multiple blisters from running in heels, her skirt had to rip.

She blames the poor fabric.

Heading out, she received a message from her other half, Yujin, telling her to meet him at the cafeteria. Their usual eating spot, a few tables away from the entrance.

That small message instantly put a smile on her face.

Minju was working the night shift at a cafe when she met him. Being a med student, he needed caffeine for late-night studies.

There were many coffee shops under the building but Yujin didn't like them. Only when he discovered this cafe Minju works at, he found his favourite coffee, also made by her.

From medical talk to staying till closing time to asking her out. He was smooth with everything he did and she loved it.

Minju adored the way he'd stay to talk to her rather than study when he looked like the guy that puts studying over everything. But she does tell him to head home since university is not a joke.

Better, they're in the same university since it's the only one in the area.

She steps into the cafeteria. As usual, there were many people around. It takes her a while to squeeze through the crowd.

When she managed to, her eyes got drawn to the guy who was looking around, finally meeting his gaze.

Yujin smiles widely as she went to the table. Their friends were there.

Wonyoung, Yujin's best friend. And Nako, Wonyoung's girlfriend who came to be friends with everyone.

"I already ordered for you." Yujin made some space for her to fit in, basically attached to the hip.

"Did you manage to come in time?" He looks at her, worried since classes here are strict on attendance.

Minju nodded. "I did, but this happened on the way." she received the utensils from Wonyoung.

Pointing at the part of her skirt that ripped, Yujin checks on it. "You ran?" Minju hums.

He leans back, looking out for blisters at the back of her feet. Lucky there were non. "I'd rather you be late for classes than let this happen."

"I'm fine."

Yujin turns to his bag, pulling out a little box. He places it on the table. The two girls opposite them looked and got confused.

Even Minju was.

"You know how to sew?" she asks him, not knowing he could.

Yujin picks out a needle, taking a small piece of thread. "I don't know how to sew, but I know how to suture." A future doctor indeed.

He lifts the tiny needle in front of him, aiming the thread at the hole.

"You should eat first." Minju watched him.

He shakes his head. "I'll be fast. Come here. I'm not letting you walk around like that." he shifts back slightly, tying the knot.

"How nice it is to have a doctor for a partner." Nako comments, shoving a piece of meat into her mouth.

Wonyoung looks at her, immediately making a note in her head to learn how to sew.

"Don't move, okay?" Yujin warns the girl who stayed still.

He did the first loop, making sure he has the fabric positioned correctly.

Minju cuts a piece of tonkatsu, feeding him at the same time since they only had 20 minutes before lunch was over.

She fed herself a piece, watching her boyfriend meticulously bind her skirt together, inevitably smiling to herself.

"How hard did you run for this to happen..." he talks but made sure he doesn't hurt his girl with the needle.

It feels a lot different doing it with fingers rather than forceps.

Minju sips on the drink, swallowing. "The hardest I ran since I was five."  she snickers, cutting up the food.

Yujin concentrates. People were seen staring at their table. Maybe it isn't a common sight to see a guy helping his girlfriend stitch up a wardrobe malfunction.

Yujin used his teeth, cutting the thread. "All done." he removed the string from the needle, earning a small kiss on his cheek.

"Thank you." Minju pats his head gently. The smile on his face could never grow wider.

Nako watched in envy. She had her chin held, turning to face Wonyoung.

"Jealous?" The girl looks into her eyes. Her gaze drops, smoothly giving a kiss to Nako's lips.

That small action stripped her thoughts. "I can do so much better." Wonyoung whispers and lifts her gaze off the latter's lips.

Nako swallowed the lump in her throat, pushing down the urge to do anything. "I know." she held onto Wonyoung's wrist, placing her hand on her lap.
