Y/N POV
As Raditz and I trained on the island, the two of us would spar and help each other with various exercises. At night, I would ask him questions.
My first, was about the saiyans. Raditz in turn answered multiple questions that had popped into my head with his explanation. The saiyans were a warrior race, with the power to transform under the light of the full moon, that lived in planet Vegeta. We conquered other planets and sold them to the highest bidder. The 4 of us were the last saiyans alive, excluding Kakarot since he had yet to be revived by the 'Dragon Balls'. Our planet had been blown up while we were on a mission on another planet. I was a guard and had been assigned Vegeta. While He didn't need it, I still took on anyone that I deemed a threat to the Prince unless ordered me to stand down. Raditz and I had been lifelong friends before the crash, and while the accident had made me forget most of everything, I already regained many of my memories of Raditz. Nappa, His advisor, was a dull witted giant of a saiyan who only knew how to fight and kill. Nothing more than a mercenary assigned to help the Prince. Though, while he is an oaf, he's still incredibly dangerous.
Lastly, I asked about Frieza, a godlike creature who seemed to despise our race, and why Vegata still loyally followed him.
Raditz didn't seem to have much of an answer, other than that Frieza was the one who led them and that he was insanely powerful. He had a rather large army and the power to destroy planets at his fingertips.***
The next night, instead of asking questions, the two of us hid in a cave away from the full moon. in the distance, I heard the roars of an untamed beast.
"..Seems Piccolo forgot about the transformation," I heard Raditz say as I turned to look at him, "I didn't even think the half-breed would be able to transform-" he confessed.
"Well Gohan had a tail didn't he.?" I asked.
"Yup. Honestly surprised they haven't cut it off yet, Y/N.. I mean my brother had, so why wouldn't he cut off his son's as well-"
I sat there in silence for a brief moment, "..........You said he hit his head right? And he forgot his mission? What if he never remembered he could transform?-"
His eyes widened at my words and, at that, Raditz stood up and tried to run out of the cave before his arm was grabbed by me and he was stopped from leaving the cave.
"Raditz, if you leave now the Blutz Waves will transform you- It's better to wait it out.."
Raditz turned to look back outside before looking back to meand nodded, "I'll wait until tomorrow, Y/N.. Then, we go cut off that kid's tail."
"We don't even know where they are, the scouters are broken-"
"Shit... I just hope Piccolo can deal with this on his own.. That kid at full strength might be too strong even for me... I can only imagine the damage he'd do while transformed-"***
Days later, the two were woken up by the sound of laughter. I walked out of the cave to find Kakarot's son playing with a sabertoothed tiger on the beach.
"Gohan????" You called out.
The boy turned around when he heard his name being called and jumped up before running up to me, "What are you doing here, Sir?" the little boy asked.
"I should be asking you that-"
"I just woke up on the beach" Gohan replied.
"I see," I replied, "Raditz! Guess who showed up on the island-" I yelled.
As Raditz came out of the trees he looked towards me, and then to the boy. "How in the hell- Where's Piccolo???"
The boy hid behind your legs "Uncle is scary, Sir.."
I chuckled and pat Gohan's head. "Gohan says he woke up on the beach... It may be Piccolo's doing.. Perhaps he wanted him to spend time with his uncle... Or it could be that he wants us to train him.."
Raditz sighed, "Dumbass Namek just left him here with no warning... Could've at least left a note or some shit-"
"No use complaining about it now," I said as you readjusted the couter and vambrace of my saiyan armor, "We may as well train him since he's here.. As fellow saiyans it's our duty to train him to be a powerful warrior.."***
THIRD PERSON POV
After three months of rigorous training Raditz and Y/N decide to take Gohan home. Piccolo had stopped by in the middle of the night a few times to check in.
The first night he stopped by, he explained that he did indeed send him to train with his fellow saiyans, saying it'd be good to learn from people from his own race.
During his last appearance, he checked on how Gohan was doing and stayed to talk to the saiyan warriors for a short while before heading back to the desert to train. Something about pyramids..
In the morning, Y/N and Raditz decided to fly Gohan back home. What the boy did after was up to him..
***
When they set the boy down, he thanked the two saiyan men and they headed back to the island. Little did they know that Piccolo was watching and Gohan had decided to go back with him instead of visiting his mother, Chi-Chi.
***
Two days after dropping the little boy off back at his mother's house, the saiyans decided to spend the next week training to sense power levels. With some advice from Piccolo, they found it relatively easy to get the hang of. The last few months they had before their prince and his attendant arrived was spent training in the mountains. Y/N and Raditz spent the days training in the snow, sparring with their eyes closed to better their abilities. Many hits missed, but the ones that landed were powerful. Eventually, they figured out how to sense energy, and not only did that help with training, but it also let them keep an eye on the others.
So I couldn't sleep and after editing the first chapter (I wanted to make it even better) I ended up writing a second one.
...Not very good with titles so uh- but anyway...
I don't plan on making Y/N stronger than Goku since yk- but I plan on giving him up to Blue. Assuming I ever get that far with the writing-
Anyways thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed~
