Self Sacrifice

Y/N POV

The battle was over quickly. Yamcha moved so fast Y/N almost couldn't see him- The man had some serious speed.. perhaps he could rival Burter one day. The cultivar lay smoking in a small crater, but Yamcha was getting cocky. "These monsters aren't as fearsome as they look.." He smirked, "I'll clean up the other four by myself."
Just then, the cultivar twitched slightly. Just barely noticeable.. but the prince noticed.. and he laughed again, "Seems it's your turn to underestimate your opponent-"

The cultivar latched onto the boy and Yamcha panicked. Sure, Yamcha was fast.. But, he wasn't fast enough to stop the tiny green man from self-destructing... Taking Yamcha with it.
Y/N laughed quietly, stifling his cackles with his hand- Such an idiotic death..
He was a bit too far to hear Vegeta said next, but he could hear Krillin calling out for his friend who now lay dead in a crater. Krillin, in a fit of rage, shot an energy blast at both the cultivars and the two saiyans. The blast curved upwards before splitting into pieces, much like a firework. It hit four of the cultivars and the men who controlled them.

As the last remaining cultivar jumped out of the smoke to attack Gohan, Piccolo grabbed it.
From where Y/N was sitting, he could read his hear, 'Die!' Piccolo then threw the cultivar into the air and shot an energy beam from his mouth at it- that move was similar one of Y/N's own... As it evaporated, the he heard Piccolo speak again, "....Except that I needed a little warm-up for the great battle to come!" ...He wasn't hearing the whole conversation, but that didn't matter.

Y/N grinned at those words (he loved a good fight) before he saw the prince and his attendant start to emerge from the smoke of Krillin's energy blast, and the remaining warriors started to panic. He heard Vegeta's laughter before the prince said "I hope it will be a great battle," he smirked, "You did say you wanted playtime to end, didn't you?" Y/N wanted to get in on the fight, he really did.. but after Vegeta's attack he was in no condition to.

This time, Nappa laughed, "Now it's time for the real thing." Everyone but Piccolo was shocked at how they survived Krillin's attack unscathed. Nappa had 'asked' to fight all five warriors opposing them by himself.
"As you will." Vegeta frowned.
Nappa laughed, "Thanks for letting me have the fun!" He then screamed and the earth started shaking. The earthquake created by Nappa's sudden power surge made the cliff I was sitting on begin to crumble away.

"Ah fuck-" Y/N mumbled, "He's gonna-" Suddenly Vegeta appeared behind him.
"There you are, Y/N.. I knew you'd be around here somewhere." He said, grabbing Y/N by the chin. He roughly turned his head towards him, "You're lucky, nobody whose betrayed me before has ever lived to tell the tale.. You should be glad I kept you alive." He smiled. Y/N didn't try to fight back- he could get out of this with words.. He was good with words. He was smart. He was a strategist.. He'd disobeyed orders before and it turned out just fine (he went through with plans regardless of whether or not Vegeta agreed.. because they were good plans.)
"Vegeta, please.." He tightened his grip on Y/N's chin and he could see the malicious glint in the prince's eyes, "I never intended to betray you, I swear.. I'll accept any punishment you have in mind-" And with that, he released his grip, allowing his hand to smoothly swoop down from my face to my shoulder. "That's a good boy.." Vegeta went silent after that, His hand never leaving my shoulder as I watched Nappa wipe out Kakarot's friends. He shivered at the words.. The way he said them sent chills down his spine- and no, it wasn't a pleasant feeling.

Nappa punched one of Tien's arms off with his Arm Break technique before kicking him to the ground. The triclops collapsed to the ground, sweating bullets and bleeding out. Krillin charged in before Nappa attacked. Krillin narrowly dodged, but not before Chaozu flew in behind Nappa.
"Nappa! Behind you!" Vegeta yelled next to Y/N.
Tien watched as Chaozu latched onto the saiyan, "WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?! GET OUT OF THERE!!" he yelled before his eyes widened, "Y-YOU CAN'T- NO- WAIT-" Chaozu reached out to him as he screamed, "CHAOZU!! DON'T!!" he cried. Chaozu and Nappa were surrounded by a bright white light before they exploded.
