~Cassidy~

The boardwalk.

It's hot. I'm hungry. And if I step on bird poop one more time I swear to god I'm going to flip shit.

So saying I want to be hear is an exaggeration. The only reason I AM here is because Rylee wanted me to go. I just wanted to stay at home in the air conditioned hotel but noooo. I'm stuck here in the heat.

I was currently in a white bikini top, and jean shorts. "Hey." I looked over at Nash who had a bottle of water. "Want some?" He outstretched his hand. I smiled and was going to grab it. He quickly drew his arm back. "Psych." He opened it and drank all of it.

"Asshole." I muttered. A seagull swooped down and plopped one on Nash's head. I died of laughter. "Karma's a bitch isn't it?" I say in between laughs.

"Even on the hottest days...how can you two still have energy to fight?" Taylor asked, taking of his tie die shirt. I couldn't help but stare. Damn that boys got abs like a motherfucker. I then snapped back into reality. I'm with Shawn. I'm not single anymore. Keep it together Cassidy.

I turned away quickly. "Hey, where are Cameron and Rylee anyways?" I ask looking around to notice them missing from the group.

"I think they went into the arcade." Aaron piped.

"Okay. Well, where's Shawn?" He was missing too.

Hayes's says. "I think he went too go get some drinks."

"It does not take this long too go get drinks. I'll be back in a minute." I say walking too the snack bar.

"Your friends with the MagCon boys aren't you?" A girl with long brown hair and dimples says making me stop.

"Yes. Who are you?"

"Oh my names Kylie. I'm actually dating one of the boys." She smiles, showing perfect pearly white teeth.

"Oh? Which one are you dating? Can't be Carter because his girlfriend has black hair and the rest of the boys don't have girlfriends besides Cameron and Shawn. But Cameron's taken which means..."

"Surprise" My mind went completely and totally blank.

*Shawn*

I sat at the edge of the pier with Matthew.

"How can I be this cruel too my best friend? I never intended for any of this too happen.
This was all my parents idea. You see Kylie's parents is the manager of a very huge record company in LA. The one that produced my first album. My parents thought if I got closer too Kylie that the manager would want too make another album. They knew about my relationship with Cassidy. But they didn't care. They said she was just another girl and she wouldn't help me get famous. I tried telling them that I didn't want too be famous if that meant hurting a person that I really care about. But I knew I would lose to every argument I tried too give. They would always find a loophole. So I agreed."

"You agreed too seeing her?" Matt asks, looking at me.

I nodded. "I'm not proud of it Matt. I don't want anyone getting hurt. Especially Cassidy. But it's for my parents. If I break up with Kylie then they'll think-"

"What do you care what they think? So what if that record guy drops you. We'll help you get a new producer, we'll help you build a new album. Because thats what friends are for. We'll always be here for you. Let me ask you something." I turn my head too him. "Do you care about Cassidy?"

"Of course I do." I breath.

"Then why are you doing this too her? She doesn't deserve this. She doesn't deserve to be lied too by her best friend. So...you have a choice. You can fix this now. Or you can wait until she finds out herself. And we both know if she does...they'll be no going back."
