Aunt Sierra was actually available for dinner. We went to a local Mexican restaurant that was one of my favorites. I listened to mom and Aunt Sierra talk about work, but then the topic of her boyfriend came up.

"You're too swoon over him," I spoke up.

"I have never heard you say swoon, and I hope I never do again," Aunt Sierra said. "You know, you might fall in love one day,"

"I'll never get married,"

"That makes two of us," mom rubbed my back.

"How's school?" Aunt Sierra changed the topic. For the first time ever, that made me shut up. "Not good?"

"Bad teachers," mom sighed.

"You know, Luke knows a therapist that might help," Aunt Sierra suggested.

"Ashton, right?"

"Yeah, you should schedule something with him,"

"You're making it sound like somethings wrong with me," I mumbled, loud enough for them to hear that.

'I'm not saying that, I'm saying life gets stressful and sometimes it feels like things are harder,"

"Not feels, it is," I argued.

"Exactly why you should talk to someone,"

"I have mom,"

"Your mom can only do so much,"

"She can do everything,"

"You know I've seen a therapist before, right?" Aunt Sierra said, making me look up. "And it helped,"

"I didn't know that,"

"I've seen one too," mom added. "It helps, you should consider it,"

"Maybe,"

"How about we meet him and see?" mom suggested. "I'll go with you,"

"I guess," I mumbled.

"It'll get you out of school," Aunt Sierra told me.

"I'll go," I decided, making the two laugh.

"Tomorrow I have some stuff I have to finish for work, would you be ok staying with Sierra?" mom asked.

"We're supposed to read,"

"I'll read with you," Aunt Sierra offered.

"You won't do it like mom," I said.

"Yeah, I'll be more fun,"

"I'll be home in the evening so we can," mom told me.

"We'll go to Ulta," Aunt Sierra said and I nodded.

"Ok," I agreed.
