Pico watched as Keith's gaze suddenly darkened, confirming that it was something that happened at his house. He waited to see how he was going to act.
"Y-yeah I uh, I should get going. Thanks for sitting here with me and fixing my bandages and all." Keith looked at the ground, rubbing the back of his neck and averting his eyes to the ground, "It did help..." Only after Keith had pointed that out had Pico realized what all he had done. He had sat by, talked to, and helped a completely random stranger. He had basically comforted Keith when all he had wanted to do was figure out how he got those injuries. Even despite all of that, he still didn't have his answer.
"Yeah... sure thing." He managed to mumble before he got up and started in the direction of his apartment. He could feel Keith watching him walk away.
Pico never heard Keith get up and begin walking home. He glanced behind himself and realized that he had stayed on the bench. Pico sighed, shaking his head slightly, and continued his walk. He couldn't find it in himself to care about why Keith was still sitting there. He had let his curiosity get the best of him once already, trying to figure out where Keith had got his injuries from, but what good did that do for him? No answers to his questions, and he somehow managed to comfort Keith and get his name (all accidentally). It was safe to say that Pico wouldn't be letting his curiosity get the better of him again.
