It was night and the wind was blowing softly while the conqueror of demons was at the top of the wangshu inn waiting for the day to meet the person who saved him again and wear his mask but not to conqueror demons, instead he wanted to dance to the music the boy would play.
Xiao's pov
I was on top of the wangshu inn looking at the beautiful scenery in front of me.

As the breeze hit's my face I sight and start thinking of him again. He was stuck in my brain the day I saw him and heard his song, the way he played his flute and how he looked so calm when playing it. I just couldn't get him out of my head. If it continues like this, all I will ever think about is him and his perfect face...
I sight as I look back to the view enjoying the breeze of wind closing my eyes slowly. After an hour I suddenly heard a familiar song...
His song to be specific...
I teleported close to the source of the music but not too close that he would see me and there I saw the boy I have oh so longed to see again, seeing him play the flute again and hearing the same song i heard a century ago.
(i don't remember when he heard venti play the flute so i just wrote that)
He looked so pretty I just couldn't take my eyes off him.. I wish I could stare at his beautiful face for eternity.
Venti's pov
I was walking around looking for a good place to play the flute till an idea came to my head. I decided to go to the same place I played the flute before, even though it was far away it would make a perfect spot for playing my instrument anyway.
Some time later I found myself at the same place as last time. I get out my flute and I sit down getting ready to play a song. Debating on which song I should play, I picked one that I sang on this same spot and I began to play a few minutes of me playing my flute, I felt a presence behind me. As I turn my eyes to look at who it could be, I see a boy with yellow eyes staring at me playing the flute. Oh it's that yaksha that old buffoon was talking about. I think his name is Xiao if I'm not wrong, he hasn't noticed me yet and seems like he enjoys me playing the flute so I wouldn't mind playing it for a little while as it does no harm to me anyway...
After what felt like hours i finally stop playing
"You know it's rude to just stare at a person and not introduce yourself~" i say
"Oh- uhm, Sorry..." he says
"No worries..xiao right?"
"How do you-"
"Someone told me, don't worry i'm not some type of creep"
"I see.."
"Why don't you come and sit with me? It is a lovely weather to stargaze tonight as well!"
"If you don't mind..."
He sits beside me and I take in his features.
He has dark blueish hair and some teal highlights at the bottom of his hair.
He has a green tattoo and a mask on his waist and he has a purple diamond on his forehead.
He looked so pretty I could barely take my eyes off of him.
"You look pretty handsome, you know!" i say.
He starts to blush "w-wha, uh ehem, thank you.."
"Ehe~ you're welcome!" After I say that I turn to the sky and look at the moon.
Xiao's pov
Oh archons... he just called me handsome. What should I say? Do I say you're handsome too or pretty or should i just say nothing and be quiet.. No wait he would take that rudely maybe i should just say something random...
"May I know your name?" i say"Sure! The names Venti the bard the best bard around teyvat!" A name suited for him"Venti, uhm... can you play that song you were playing before..." i say blushing a little"Sure i don't mind Buuuuuuuut~ it'll cost you an apple!"
"Alright.." i say blushing slightly and a small smile comes on my face as i hear him play his song forgetting my karma and getting lulled into sleep...
