Liam walks up to Scott, a scrowl on his face."What do you mean 'No'?" He questions.
"Liam, look at her. She's too weak. It will kill her" Scott says. "We don't even know what the mercury's doing to her. We don't even know if it is mercury. This can't be the only way to save her life" They glance at Hayden.
"It saved mine," Liam says.
Scott shakes his head. "You know that was different. You were hanging off a ledge"
"You promised. You said you'd do everything you could"
"Which is why I'm not going to do something I think is going to kill her," He says. His breathing suddenly goes faster. "There has to-" he starts breathing heavily and grabs his chest. "There has to-"
Theo quickly pulls out an inhaler from his pocket. "Scott" He throws it at the Alpha who quickly catches it. Scott shakes it a bit before taking a puff and a deep breath.
"There's another way to save her," Scott says.
Hayden breathes heavily. "Guys" they all turn to Theo. "I don't know what the statistics are for surviving a werewolf bite, but she's not surviving this. We need to do something"
A while later, Hayden lays on the examination table as Melissa set up her medical things. "What is that?" Liam questions the IV bag Melissa pulls out of the bag.
"It removes heavy metals from the blood" She explains. "But, the problem is, is that can injure the kidneys and Hayden only has one to begin with, so..." As soon as she pushes the needle into Hauden's skin, the injured girl groans in pain.
