A few days had passed since Bakugou and Todoroki had shared that kiss. There were just five days left of school and the boys had gotten through a lot of Bakugous missing assignments. All that was left to do was a multimedia presentation and he would be caught up. Just in time for exams.

"Have you had any aggressive thoughts or feelings this past week?" Bakugous therapist, Dr. Burgundi asked.

Bakugou was silent a moment. "Well I got into a fight with my friends at lunch. Not physically. Just verbally."

"Oh is that so? What was the fight about? And how did you handle it?"

"Well, we had planned on watching a movie together that night and I told them I couldn't make it. They got upset and tried asking me why I couldn't come, and I didn't answer them. Then Kirishima called me out and told me I was being selfish and dramatic. I wanted to punch him in the face and scream at him. But I didn't."

"What did you do instead?"

"I yelled and walked away."

"Where did you go?"

"I walked around the school."

"Inside or outside?"

"Inside."

"Did you skip any classes that day?"

"No,"

"Bakugou, if you don't mind me asking, how come you weren't able to watch a movie with your friends?"

"My teacher made me stay after school with another guy to help me catch up on my schoolwork."

"I see. Was this other student a friend of yours? Did you know him?"

"We're not friends. But he's in my homeroom and I know him well." Bakugou paused. "Hey, doc? You promise not to say shit to anyone if I tell you something?"

"Bakugou, that's my job."

"Right..."

"Whatever it is, it'll stay between us. That's a promise I legally can't break."

"Yeah but there's nothing really preventing you from telling people."

"Well I'd lose my job."

"But you could always get a new one."

"Bakugou," Dr. Burgundi said. "I will not tell a single living soul."

He sighed. "Okay, fine. The guy's name is Todoroki. I've had a crush on him since the beginning of the year. We've stayed after school every day this week and it's really helped me get back on top of my schoolwork. But then the other day, we were kind of flirting back and forth and I kissed him."

"That's great!"

"It was. Until he pushed me off of him and started crying. The second I realized he was upset, I stopped and left him alone. But now I don't know what to do. It's been super awkward between us since. I still really like him and I want to ask him why he was upset, I just don't know how."

"Hm," Dr. Burgundi hummed. "Well I'm glad to hear you stopped right away instead of forcing yourself onto him. Some people prefer to go slow. Maybe this boy just needs some space and time to figure things out. Do you know if he is part of the LQBTQ+ community? Have you seen him date any other men?"

"He's not really the type to date and make it known. He likes his privacy." Bakugou shrugs. "But he was like seriously flirting with me. He like touched me back. So he had to be into me a little right?"

"Like I said, he might have been overwhelmed by the situation. Everyone has different comfort levels. Romantic relationships might be new to him so rushing into things could scare him off. I strongly suggest talking to him though. That way you can both be on the same page."
