Chapter Five: The Questions

"I'm really proud of you, Bakugou. You worked hard. I appreciate the effort you made and I'm glad you were able get it all done on time even though it was challenging. And Todoroki, I really appreciate you helping out your classmate. I know you had to take time out of your own time to do this so thank you." Aizawa says to the two of them. Fourth period had just ended and he had asked them to stay a minute after class. "Have a good lunch."

Bakugou and Todoroki walked down the empty hallway, hand in hand. They didn't go to the cafeteria. Instead, the found the nearest janitors closet, locked themselves in, and made out. This was more fun anyway. Or at least it was, until Bakugou's stomach growled so loudly they had to stop so they could both laugh.

"Sorry... I didn't have breakfast."

Todoroki chuckles. He looks so cute when he laughs. "That's okay, we can go eat if you'd like."

"Yeah that'd probably be best. Wanna sit with me?"

"I think I'll sit with Izuku and his friends today. I'm not sure how your friends will feel if I eat with you guys."

"Nah, they'd be cool with it."

Todoroki shrugs.

"Obviously I won't force you to do anything you don't want to. You wanna eat with Deku, you do that."

"Thanks," Todoroki kisses Bakugou gently on the cheek and buttons up his shirt, tying his tie, grabbing his bag off the floor and opening the door.

After a few minutes, Bakugou straightens out his own shirt, pulling his jacket back on and leaving the closet to join the BakuSquad in the cafeteria. As he sits, he snatches a French fry off of Kaminari's plate.

"Heyyy-" He whines.

"Where were you?" Kirishima asks.

"Aizawa made me stay back and talk."

"Bout what?" Sero frowns.

"Submitting all my schoolwork,"

"So, hold on, are you and Todoroki like totally besties now? Cause like, the two of you did those hero license classes together and now this." Mina says, leaning over the table, waiting for the tea to be spilled.

"Fuck no! He's annoying as shit!" Bakugou blurted out on instinct. There was no way he was telling the four of them about his relationship with Todoroki. No fucking way.

On the other side of the cafeteria, Todoroki sat down beside Midoriya.

"Oh, hi, Shoto!"

"Are you wearing cologne?" Uraraka asks, fanning her hand in front of her face.

"Hm?"

"Yeah it's really strong." Tsuyu adds.

Oh shit! Todoroki started to panic. Bakugous cologne must have rubbed off on him while they were in that janitors closet! If people realize they recognize the scent and associate it with Bakugou, their relationship could be blown right up and everyone will know! He wasn't ready to come out yet! This was all still fairly new to him! What if his friends reject him? He knows Midoriya would support him since he's gay too, but everyone else? Uraraka, Iida, Tsuyu, Momo. What if they're all homophobic? Not to mention his family! They'd probably find out and disown him! He couldn't even begin to imagine his fathers reaction! Oh gosh! What about Bakugou? If their relationship becomes public, it would force Bakugou to come out too! What if he's not ready either! What if it ruins his hero career and his relationships with friends and family too?! Ugh he was way in over his head. He really should have thought all of this through before he kissed the cute blonde in the library.
