After the pups and Ryder finished up their breakfast, they cleaned up and made
their separate ways. Ryder went down to the garage to pack a few 'surprise
tools' onto his ATV, and the six pups walked to the uniform/equipment room.

"Alright guys, who else is excited?" Chase asked with a huge, giddy smile as he
and the others entered the equipment room.

"I AM!!" the other five barked and yelled with tails wagging. Skye bopped her
head back and forth as she trailed behind the German Shepherd. She was happy
that Chase was going to help lead with Ryder and Rubble. She knew he would
help protect her and everyone else should something go wrong.

Since this was a bit of a different mission, the pups were getting ready with
different gear. Instead of their regular uniforms, they wore a similar outfit to
Rubble's: a vest with bright reflectors and a sturdy hard-hat. Their construction
uniforms still matched each pup's main colors, with blue for Chase, yellow for
Rubble, red for Marshall, green for Rocky, orange for Zuma, and pink for Skye. Each pup also packed up their regular uniforms and Pup Packs as well; just in
case they were needed while they were out.

Putting on their construction uniforms, Skye looked to Chase on her right and
decided to start up a conversation with him. "Kind of cool to be wearing these
again. It's been a while since we all were needed for building something. Well, tearing down something. Haha."

"You got that right." Chase smiled back as he zipped up his vest. "It's going to be
so much fun tearing the shed down." (So uh...how is breaking a shed fun?)

"Uh-huh." she nodded her head in agreement, placing her pink hard-hat on and
clicking the strap in place under her muzzle. "There. That'll protect my little
head." Skye bonked her head with a paw for emphasis.

The police pup chuckled at her actions as he put on his own hard hat. "Well I
hope so. But don't worry; if it doesn't work I'll make sure you don't get hurt. I'll
be a puppy-shield!" He puffed out his chest as he stood triumphantly. (Hehe, way to go,Chase...)

"Awe.... Thank you Chase." Skye turned her head away slightly to hide a faint
blush as she took her regular pilot uniform and placed it on her back. "Calm
down Skye. He's just tugging at your heartstrings as he always unintentionally
does...."

"No need to thank me." Chase commented as he walked beside Skye carrying
his police uniform and Pup Pack on his back. "I'll always be there for YOU!" He
pointed a paw at her with a warm look on his face.

The Cockapoo felt butterflies flutter around in her stomach as she smiled back
at him. Chase was just so kind to her and she could tell he always went out of his
way to make sure she was A-OK. She could always trust his words. Skye's mind
did somersaults as she walked with him to the other pups.

"Dude, I'm so pumped!" barked Zuma as he met Chase and Skye in the middle
of the room.

"I'm right behind you, uh, dude." Rocky walked up in his gear and gave each of
the other three pups a high-paw.

Marshall trotted up in his construction gear while he balances his firefighter
uniform on his back. "You could say 'I'm fired up'. Well, I hope there isn't a fire as
we tear this thing down. Haha."

we tear this thing down. Haha."
"Guys, I was literally born - or trained - for this." Rubble boasted cheekily as he
joined the others.

"Lucky," said Rocky, "You don't have to pack an extra uniform."

Rubble just smiled and placed a paw to his chest. "What can I say? It's my
specialty after all." The others let out a chuckle in amusement.

As if on cue, Chase's Pup Tag blinked with an incoming call. "Hey Chase."
Ryder's voice came from the other end. "Are you and the other pups packed
and ready?"
