Chapter 7: Earth To Skye!

It was morning in Adventure Bay once again and it's another day. Marshall probably has to do the wake-the-other-pups routine as he thinks Chase is "preoccupied" with the game last night... And probably from Skye. He woke Everest first because you know... (YOU ALREADY KNOW,OKAY?!)

"Psst,Everest,wake up" Marshall said,nudging Everest's side.

"Ugh,5 more minutes..." Everest said with a groan and rolled to the other side.

"Skase is going to wake up soon~" Marshall said with a smirk,knowing that Everest is going to go nuts.

"WHAT?! THEY'RE A THING NOW?! LEMME TAKE A SELFIE WITH-" Everest wakes up quickly and realizes that Marshall fooled her. She quickly punched his shoulder and he fell down the floor still laughing.

"Nice try,Stud-muffin" Everest said and Marshall suddenly stood up with a questionable look.

"Uh... Why do you keep calling me 'Stud-muffin'?" Marshall asked and Everest started to fluster.

"Uh... It was because... You're... a... 'Stupid muffin'! Everest answered and suddenly closed her mouth,realizing what she said. (Oh great,way to go,Eve...)

"Wait... Did she just called me 'Stupid-muffin'? Does she hate me? Am I really a 'Stupid-muffin'? Marshall thought,but was interrupted by Everest.

"Hey...hello?" Everest asked,waving her paw in front of Marshall's face.

"Just... Wake up the others... I'm going to prepare breakfast..." Marshall said and walked away furiously,leaving Everest confused.

"Huh,I wonder why he walked off like that? Was it because of what I said? I didn't really mean to,I was just..." Everest thought and decided to walk around,waking the other pups.

Meanwhile in the lookout,Chase and Skye are still sleeping at each other,when Ryder noticed it and decides to wake them up.

"Psst,wake up" Ryder said,nudging Chase's side which tickled him a bit.

"*yawns* Good morning,Ryder" Chase said stretching his paws and realizing he spent the rest of the night sleeping with Skye and made him so flustered,he's almost going to faint.

"Chase? Are you okay? You seem a little red..." Ryder said and-

"YeS rYdEr SiR,i WiLl StArT pAtRoLlInG tHe AdVeNtUrE bAy!" Chase quickly answered and dashed away with his police cap,leaving Ryder still for a few seconds. (Hey,I'm not even done with Ryder's perspective...)

"Hmm,strange. Even Chase started acting like this ever since yesterday... I'm going to have a word with him after I'm done making breakfast... Hopefully,he'd be back by breakfast coz he sure did missed it." Ryder said and went on his way to make breakfast,while leaving Skye to rest up some more.

After Marshall and Everest woke up the rest of the pups,Marshall started to gather them up for a meeting until Ryder finishes making breakfast.

"Okay guys,I think you all know why we're here... Yesterday was supposed to be a fun night for all of us at the Pup-pup-boogie game,but it ended up with Chase and Skye sleeping with each other after Rubble accidentally sent a ball towards them." Marshall explained and everyone agreed.

"Sorry guys..." Rubble meekly said.

"It's okay,Rubble... I think the most important question you guys aren't aware of is: Does Chase have a crush on Skye?" Marshall said and left everyone in confusion.

"Well,let's see... Chase protected Skye from a debris that wasn't going to hit her anyway..." Zuma said.

"And Chase keeps looking away at Skye yesterday at dinner..." Rubble added.

"And don't forget yesterday at game night,when Chase keeps fumbling at the Pup-pup-boogie pad." Rocky joined in.

"Exactly my point... And I thought Chase was just afraid of being beaten by Skye." Marshall said while still scratching his ear.

What they don't know is,Chase was eavesdropping on their conversation after he got out of the lookout.

"Oh no,now they're talking about me having a thing on Skye... I mean I like Skye,but I don't think she likes me back. What would she feel if she found I slept with her yesterday? I have to get outta here until they forget about this situation." Chase thought to himself and tried to ignore the pups until he can get inside his cruiser and patrol Adventure Bay.

"Pups! Breakfast is served!" Ryder yells from afar and caught the attention of the pups.

"Yes! Breakfast!" The pups ran in the lookout with Rubble darting in first (Because he LOVES food)

Meanwhile,Skye woke up and realized what happened last night. She went down the lookout to eat breakfast with huge red patches on her cheeks as if she was gonna explode. She ate silently and the pups are having second thoughts as well.

"I think Chase is not the only one..." Marshall said with a little smirk on his face.

(Let's skip to 10 minutes after this)

The pups finished their breakfast and went on to do other things like cleaning the yard,cleaning their puphouses and some of them took a bath at Katie's (except Rocky). After that,some pups decided to play games while Everest was looking for Skye.

"Skye? Skye?! Where are you?!" Everest yelled.

"Go away..." Skye said in a sad and flustered voice.

"Come on bestie,tell me what happened..." Everest reassured her.

"Oh let's see what YOU did yesterday... First,you forced me to flirt with him. Second,you made me dance with him on Pup-pup-boogie. And you made me sleep with him!!! And now... and now... I don't even know if I can talk to him straight!!! T_T" Skye cried while still flustered.

"But I was doing you a favor." Everest simply said.

"FAVOR? FAVOR!? YOU ARE ALREADY PUSHING ME TO MY LIMIT! WHY CAN'T I JUST SPEND MY TIME WITH HIM 'NORMALLY' FIRST?!" Skye yelled with a huge blush on her face and Everest stood there confused and worried.

"NOW I CAN'T LITERALLY FORGET ABOUT HIM IN MY DREAMS AND I HAVE THIS FEELING WHERE I JUST WANTED TO KISS HIM AND THEN-" Skye said and suddenly fainted.

"Skye! Skye! Wake up! Earth to Skye!" Everest yelled,shaking Skye's unconscious body. She finally woke up and calmed down a bit.

"PAW Patrol,to the lookout!" Ryder said through his pup pad.

"Ryder needs us!" All the pups said and went in the lookout.

"Come on Skye,let's go." Everest said.

"Okay... But don't think I don't know what you did to me last night..." Skye said,preparing a little "revenge" for her. (Which I'll make in a future chapter)
