"Black alpha, please make your way to the grey room" they said over the intercoms "winter soldier please make your way to the grey room" they repeated. I followed.

Winter is walking by my side, he's feeling damage, pain and regret and feels to be suffering a loss greater then friendship, one of love and brotherhood. I close my link when the grey room comes into view. It senses links.

Boss is sitting in the grey room, he's looking upset "my greatest creations" he stood up "I want you two to meet the twins" he pointed to the double doors that are off limits and they open reviling a young girl and a young boy, same age.

I fight the urge to construct a link between the two, I know they are twins now one had dark red hair and in black and red clothes, the other has bight white hair almost the same colour as mine in blue clothes.

She's powerful I can feel it, he doesn't feel a strong but her magic is radiating off her skin.

Boss stepped towards them "my other great creations" he steps away from them again "we have an attack on the floor, alpha I would like you to escort the twins to the fridge" he commanded I nodded "good, and winter head straight to the weapons volt" winter nodded and walked out the room.

Boss looked at the twins "this might hurt" he smiled. I hate the fridge is a cold metal box where they attach a hat to my head and make it hurt, and then it goes black until I use my magic and then I have a target and no choice but to do what I am instructed.

I walked the twins to the fridge when boss waved us off, it's a five minute walk to the fridge, once we left the room I created a link with the boy. He's feeling regret, pain and suffering, he also feels the need to protect his sister.

I cut that off and started a link with the girl, all I can see is red, she's angry, joyful all together, she feels sorry for herself but the need to protect her brother.

The fridge is close so I close the link. They starts whispering "don't" I said and they stopped.

I already had my visit to the fridge today thankfully so once we got inside I left them, with orders to go to the weapons vault and meet with winter.

I walked to the vault holding my gun on my thigh holster it needs to be re-filled or I just grab a new one.

Winter is sitting on the bench alone holding the gun in his metal arm and a knife in his other arm "alpha" he nodded as I entered "winter" I put the gun from my thigh holster on the table and grabbed a new one then I attached my waist belt and my gloves.

My mask is sitting next to them "don't need it" winter said from the seat "they said we don't need our masks, that there isn't much to see with the trees" he stood up and put his gun in his pocket.

We stood there for a while, while we are like this and not under strict orders I consider him a friend, the only other person in this place that hasn't totally lost their mind, a human being, but as soon as we have orders we end up like the rest, alone and mindless.

Screams came from down the hall "newbies" I shrugged "the red one looked powerful" winter said "yeah, she is" I sat next to him changing my boots "good, we'll need it, I was filled in on the attack coming they are called the avengers and they are a team of heroes they have taken on aliens" his eyes widened "what's an alien" I looked back up at him.

He shrugged and I got back to my boots.

Boss came in "alright you two, change of plans winter mask, alpha, while down there watch the twins make sure they are on point and use the mind power most get in their heads make them see things" he commanded "yes boss" I nodded standing up.
