I was almost a dead meat . I took a sigh of relief when Ryan sir finally left without saying anything to me .
Although his glare told me everything more than his words could , it told me that he was annoyed to the core and wanted to punish me .
And I was ready for any punishment , though having crush on your teacher wasn't a crime .
"I'm so sorry " Lily finally broke the silence , as everyone around me was also waiting for my death with tied lips.
Lily my big mouth friend , who can't keep even a single thing to herself . She was the who shouted like a maniac 'Inaya your crush is here ' when Ryan sir and Ray mam just entered the hallway .
Since the day I accidentally told her my secret that I have crush on Ryan sir , it wasn't a secret anymore. Almost half of my college knew about it now , and I was glad that she didn't had courage to tell that to Ryan sir otherwise it would be embarrassing . But today she did that too.
I didn't know till when I'll stop becoming an idiot infront of him.
I just turned around to give her a death glare , she raised her hand to pull her ear telling me that she was sorry , but i didn't responded .
I almost came back from Lion's den because of that idiot , she definitely deserve a cold shoulder from me .
It was true that I had crush on Ryan sir since the day he arrived in this college .
I clearly remembered that day ,when I was getting late for my Economics lecture and was rushing towards the classroom , suddenly I saw him dressed up in black shirt , and jeans . His eyes were looking at the wrist watch as he was gradually progressing towards me .
That day I realised that my heart could actually beat , coz' till that day I was worried about my hormones.
Why ?
I never had a boyfriend , and it wasn't a big thing but what made me worried was that I never had crush on my batchmates.
My heart never felt that connection with anyone but that day something special happened and I felt like a teenage girl who just wanted to see her prince charming for her whole life and now he was standing infront of her.
He approached me and stopped just where I was standing . "Could you show me the way to principal's office ? "he asked politely and I just stood their like an idiot gawking at him .
He raised his eyebrows when I didn't say anything to him for a minute , he was about to say something again to me but somebody disturbed us .
"Ryan here" a girl with short hair called his name waving at him. He gave that girl a toothy smile and strolled towards her , before giving me a confused glance .
I was still looking at their retreating back and all of sudden his name left my mouth "Ryan".
I couldn't tell you , how many times that day I prayed to the god that he'll be a new student and come to my class , although I was a post graduation student , doing my masters in economics , and it was a mid semester means no new student could get admission.
Still I was waiting for a miracle to happen . But all my hopes were crashed when Principal sir introduced him to us as new professor of Statistics , and that girl with short hair was our new microeconomics teacher.
Although it didn't destroyed my feelings for him , that grew over time , but I wasn't alone . Almost every second girl of my college developed crush on him ,either open or secret . Within few days he became the hot topic of discussion among the girls . And through these gossips I got to know that He and Ray Ma'am was friends since their college days .
And Ray ma'am has huge crush on Ryan sir and he liked her too .I wasn't believing everything I heard ,but these things couldn't go without attention.
I had a huge respect for Ray ma'am because she was great teacher and since her first day she became everyone's favourite , but I couldn't deny the fact that I was jealous with her .
In my mind she was already my rival , who is winning every battle against me. I used cringed by her name 'Ray ' that was beautiful and almost similar to Ryan sir's name . She had every chance with Ryan sir , and I couldn't less agree to the gossip they look perfect with each other .
But I'm still waiting for miracle.
