You'll Be Mine ... AGAIN ❤️

Birthday!

It has already been a week since all of this happened.
My seminars and projects are coming closer but still my mind wasn't cooperating with me. I wasn't even able to focus on my studies despite the fact that I've not been doing great.

I was not upset with Ryan sir because I understand his point, I definitely do not stand any chance with him .
It was my fault that I believed in mom and raised my hopes high , only to get them shattered in pieces .
It wouldn't hurt this much if this whole marriage thing doesn't happen.

I was lying limpless on my bed , it was Sunday and of course my birthday.

A very happy birthday!.

When I got rejected my one sided crush .

I wasn't excited for it , actually I was not excited for anything.
Although I knew that Ryan sir was never going to say yes to something like this, hearing it directly from his mouth just ruined my mental peace.
Before this I was flying in my own fantasies but now everything falls on the ground .

My parents were out of town and I didn't have any plans for celebrating my birthday , so I decided to make a plan for my studies and upcoming exams.

They were my last exams at the University and i didn't want to disappoint my parents by failing them .
Now my misery can wait for a while, this girl is not free for spilled milk.

I was halfway through collecting my books when my phone started ringing .

"Hey Maan" I said picking up the call.
"Happy Birthday Darling" he yelled from the other side almost rupturing my eardrums.

"Thank you" I replied with a giggle.
At least someone is excited for my birthday .

"So what's the plan for today and don't tell me you are running away from the party "he said enthusiastically.

"I don't have any plans" I replied.

"Very well then I'll be taking you out in an hour " he replied not waiting for a second .

"No ..I mean I really don't want to celebrate it " I said honestly.

"Shhh... I'm here only for a week and I definitely will not slide your birthday like this so get ready" he replied and hung up the phone .

I took a sigh .

That's ok, it'll only take an hour or two.
And it wouldn't kill me to spend some time with my friends.

Lily called me too after Maan's call so I asked her to come along with us for my birthday celebration.

Maan came to pick me up and then we together went to Lily's home to get her.

After discussing and fighting for almost half an hour about all the cafe's clubs and restaurants we decided to go to a restaurant.
It was Maan's Dad restaurant , open and sea facing .

We entered together . The restaurant was beautiful , it was already evening and the sun was setting down in front of us radiating its beautiful rays on us .
Subtle lightening and wooden furniture was making everything look more ravishing.

"Inaya" a sudden voice from the corner made my heartbeat faster .
I turned to look at him.He was there sitting at the corner table and looking perfect as always.

I couldn't believe it that this heart still flutters even after getting rejected by him.

     

I broke my eye contact with him looking around , he wasn't alone there. I saw Ray mam and another man who must be their friend .

I thought.

His eyes were on me and I understood by his expressions that he was shocked to see me there ruining their perfect Eve.

"Mr Cannon" Maan smiled and walked  towards him to greet him.

I was reluctant to walk towards them, but they were my teacher and it would be more awkward if I just ignored them now.

I smiled reaching towards them .

"Are you two dating?" Ray mam asked with a mischievous smile .

I shook my head vigorously, my eyes roamed to Ryan sir but he was unaffected by everything .

Then why couldn't my heart restrain its emotions.

"I wish we were, but we are here for Inaya's birthday" he said with a smile and everyone's eyes zoomed onto me .

Making me all nervous.

Why did he have to tell them everything

And what the hell he meant by 'I wish ' .

"Really, Happy Birthday Inaya " Ray Ma'am stood up and gave me a quick hug.

"Thank you ma'am" I replied back hoping for any wishes from his side as well , but nothing came .

"Why don't you guys join us then " she said excitedly .

"That's ok mam ,we don't want to disturb your evening " I replied in politest way possible as my feet was itching to leave this place as soon as pass.

My hurt heart definitely couldn't handle Ryan sir's gaze anymore.

"C'mon we'll be glad to have you here , Right Ryan !" she asked with a mischievous smile .

I focused my gaze on him, he didn't show any sign of uneasiness while my mind was in deep chaos .

"Sure , you guys should join us" he said looking at me for a while and then shifting his gaze to Maan .

Why

Why is it so difficult to understand him.

We sat across them as I didn't have any option, I was facing Ryan sir .

How uncomfortable it could be for me , for Ryan sir to sit across from each other and have dinner?

Actually very much .

I couldn't even lift my whole eyes throughout the dinner.

I was still figuring out the reasons, why did I say yes to Maan's requests , and why on the earth I end up being here between these people.
I was sinking in the feeling that Ryan sir must be thinking that I did it intentionally.

After dinner I waited for everyone to leave except Ryan sir as he was busy paying bills .
He got up looking at me with his deep eyes .

"Let's go" he said very calmly .

"Sir" I called him .
Although my voice came out really meek still he turned around.

"Umm " I struggled .

Why do I always embarras myself infront him.
"I'm sorry , I didn't know that you were here , otherwise I won't have come to this place " I said politely yet without taking any pause so that I could say it out .

He looked at me for a while . Did I say too much .

"I had an amazing dinner Inaya , so don't worry about anything" he replied with a smile and left.

"Why can't you just tell me how you Feel , because how you act is confusing me "...
