I took a sigh of relief lying down on my bed totally exhausted by the stressful viva .
It was a tough hard month , draining all the energy from me , but the only thing that was making me enthralled was Ryan sir .
He did call me every week to encourage me to prepare well in the exams . I was very grateful for everything he did for me .But an uneasy thought was still rattling in my mind .
I have liked Ryan sir since the first day I met him in college. I know he is a very dedicated person, respectful to everyone and being with him for a week even showed me his caring nature.
But I was restless that his mind won't change again .
That day in the car he told me that he wants to give us a chance. But before giving him any reply I wanted to be sure that it won't end like last time.
The last time I got rejected by him shattered me to the core even when I already knew it. But after taking a step in this relationship , I don't think I could bear heartbreak.
When I had a crush on him I never worried about his feelings but right now I was worried . Two more days and Ryan sir will be here and I hope after seeing him all these thoughts will stop haunting me .
Ryan's Pov
I was so happy to come back home . And more than anything I was happy to see Inaya , I just reached home half an hour ago and the first thing I did was call Mrs Jonas and ask about Inaya .
I was very eager to meet her . I couldn't believe but this whole month she was the only person whom I missed like a hell. And I realised that I wasn't the that Ryan anymore. She kind of completed me in a beautiful way and I wanted that complete feeling for forever.
On my way to her home I bought a beautiful bouquet for her. We always had a line between each other and I knew it was because of we had a professional relationship.
But today I want him to see me as a person who loves her so much , I want show her how much I wanted her in my life .
I tightened my grip on steering, accelerating the engine.
After greeting Mrs Jonas I went straight to her room . I knocked on the door just to welcomed by her beautiful smile. "Hi" she said moving to a side .
How could someone look so beautiful. My heart was blasting with excitement. I entered there . Bathed in nervousness. Forget about all the proposal speech , I even forgets to say hi to her.
"Did you bring this for me ?" She replied raising a brow at bouquet and I stood like a statue.
"Ryan sir " her voice pulled me back to reality. "Yeah.. it it's for you" I replied giving the bouquet to her. She giggled , making me smile too.
"I missed you Inaya" I said. She stopped smiling as her eyes bore into mine. My palm was becoming sweaty as those words , roaming in mind since a month wanted to come out . I fisted my fingers raising a courage inside to let them out. She was still looking at me stunned to see this nervous Ryan .
"Umm .. I missed you too sir " She replied tucking her hair and I smiled .
After calming my hyperactive nerves , I sat on the chair and she sat on the bed .
"So how was your conference?" She asked getting a littled comfortable.
"Inaya can we talk about us" I said taking a deep breath. I couldn't let this moment go. I need to pour my heart out today, I waited for her reply. Her eyebrows knitted together.
"Yeah" she replied after a while . Her eyes glued on my face as she was biting her lower lip.
"Inaya , I didn't know when this feeling grew so deep, but I started thinking about you from the same day your friend called me your crush ,since then you've been on my mind " I took a pause to see if I was making her anxious , but no she was still calm and composed.
"And after that everything about you became so important for me , I got hurt when I saw you crying after that marriage thing, I felt happy when I see you smile even when you are not with me , I got jealous when I see you with someone else " I said taking a while and looked at her again .
"I think I fell in love with you Inaya" I stood up from my place and approached her . I sensed that her heartbeat quickened as her face turned pale with my every step .
"Do you love me too Inaya ?" I whispered enough to hear by her . This deafening silence was making me anxious. I was desperately waiting for her to say something.
For a moment I thought she hesitated and avoided my gaze but the next moment her eyes were boring into mine.
"You don't want to say anything ?" I asked .
"If you are waiting for my proposal then I can drop the honorifics Sir" she said extending the word 'sir'.
"Yeah" I replied back . Her arms folded against her chest and she looked directly into my eyes. And I was intimidated by her confident aura.
"Hmm , so Mr Ryan Cannon I'm impressed that you remember everything, you rejected me and even you made me cried , right " she said taking a step toward me . More closer to me. And I nodded like an obedient student.
"You even lied to me about you and Ray mam? " She said and again I nodded. Her voice sounded like she was complaining at the same time with some authority.
"Do you think I should forgive you so easily ?" Her brows raised in a question. I gulped the saliva as her face inches very close to mine
"Inaya , I.. I " I tried to speak but stopped as her finger brushed against my lips.
"Shhh ...let me finish first" she said her breath hitting my face.
"I started liking you since the first day I saw you in college, but for bad luck you became my teacher and even if my mind was occupied by your thoughts, I never had the courage to say anything to you" she said . I couldn't believe my eyes that she was the same timid Inaya.
"I always loved you sir and I'm willing to spend my whole life with you , but I'm scared too" she replied I could see a little hurt in her eyes.
"Promise me this time I won't be rejected by you" she said , her eyes filled with hope and love .
"I promise" I said back without even wasting a second. She smiled a little pulling me towards her and giving a small peck on my lips .

But my fingers wrapped around her wrist pulling her back onto my chest.
"After this boldness,You can't just run away like this" I replied placing my hands behind her back .
"My mom will see us sir" she replied with a giggle.
"Only Ryan for you darling" I said closing between our faces . Her eyes closed in response. I could hear her rapid heartbeat, but before our lips could touch each other the door burst open .
