Inaya's POV
"Ryan could you please drop Inaya home, I'm actually going the other way ?"Maan asked as both of us got down the stairs.
My eyes widened in shock.
I turned to look at Ryan sir. No matter what he says, I already have ruined his evening not anymore.
"No " I replied blatantly and all eyes zoomed on me.
Stop making me more nervous.
"I mean I'll book a cab" I hastily replied .
"I'll drop her" Ryan sir stated .
Maan's eyes sparkled with mischievousness , he gave me a wink and left me alone with him .
Really
Did he say that ?
Everyone bid adieu to us leaving me and Ryan sir alone .
"Let's go" He said , I nodded keeping shut my mouth.
Moreover, I hadn't have any option.
I kept looking outside the window although it was pretty dark and nothing could be visible with human eyes , but sharing space with Ryan sir wasn't easy.
"How's your preparation for exams going on? "He asked breaking the ice.
"Good ...I guess" I replied. His lips curved into a smile .
"Did you talk with your mom about that.." I said after a while .
I needed to get an answer, my family still thinks that his mom liked me and he will be their son in law .
"Not yet" He replied in a little serious tone.
"Okay" I replied back .
Why can't he rush the things up. I'm actually feeling bad for my parents.
"Can we date ?" He asked .
I was in my own dilemma fighting with my internal thoughts and replied "okay" , then my stupid brain came back to reality .
I was dumbfounded .The way he asked me, was so direct like he was asking me for a pen , or a question in the classroom.
"Did ..did you really ask that ?" I replied with a stuttered voice .
"Yeah" He replied. His gaze focused on the road. And his face was serious.
I was still in a dilemma . Did he actually want to date me ?
There is no way this can happen?
"Not the serious one , Right? " And now it was his turn to look me with confusion.
Oh please don't give me this confused face.
He stopped the car on a side .
"Means? " he asked .
"I mean you want us to play infront of your our parents right ? And after a few months we could tell them that it didn't work out for us " I said telling my whole point.
His eyes first widened and then narrowed on me .
"From where are you learning all this ?" He said . His face was still inquisitive.
Did he actually wants me answer ?
"Umm.." I gulped .
"I want you to be in a serious relationship with me Inaya " He said . And trust me he was damn serious .
"I thought about it for a whole week and I want this. I know it is not appropriate to ask you like this, but I'll not rush the things for you . We can wait for a month or more till you graduate and no more would be my student and will be ready for this" he said, and he definitely wasn't joking.
I was still in shock to digest this big news of my life .
In a relationship with Ryan sir. It was a dream come true for me .
"I'll give you some time to think about it , and I hope we could be together" he said and his lips tucked up in a half smile melting my heart for him .
He started the engine and sped off but not faster than my heartbeat, which was beating with speed of light right now .
After seeing him off I directly ran towards my room . I was already on cloud nine .
I placed my hand over my chest , that was heaving up and down quickly .
My ears still weren't believing whatever he said and my brain still comprehending his words .
I pinched myself hard to check if it's a dream , bringing a yelp from me .
It was true .
Everything that happened was real.
I smiled . I got the best gift of my life .
