"Dawit hyung!" Donghyun called out to the older. Behind him was Kyungmin, out of breath after trying to catch up to him. The bell just rang a few minutes ago which signified that class has ended for the day.

"I told you, I don't need it! I can go home by myself!" Kyungmin argued with the blonde but Donghyun didn't respond.

"No, you can't! Dawit hyung-!" The redhead covered his mouth and cussed him out, trying to stop him from speaking. "Is... there something you guys need?"

Donghyun ripped off his bestfriend's hand from his mouth. He may have been shorter, but his strength was no match for Kyungmin. "Yeah! I'm going to take my motorcycle to the dance studio and Kyungmin has no one to take him home. Can you do it instead?"

"You want me to do it?"

"No! You don't have to, Dawit sun- er- hyung! I can go home by myself, I insist." Kyungmin smiled sheepishly at the older, finally letting go of Donghyun.

"No, he can't. The last time he went home by himself, he went missing for 3 days straight and my family and his found him at a crazy cat lady's house."

"Hey! That ahjumma was nice!"

"What? Kyungmin, that's not safe..."

"Exactly what I told him! But he insisted that she was nice and was willing to let him keep one of her flea-infested cats." Donghyun said in an almost scolding manner. The other didn't respond, instead cowering at his poor decision making. "Which is why I need you to take him to his place. Can you do it?"

"Sure, but I have a student council meeting that'll last until 5. Do you think you can wait for me, Kyungmin-ah?" Dawit asked, turning to the aforementioned boy.

"Yeah, I can wait! No worries, Dawish hyung." Kyungmin flashed his awkward smile, the older laughing fondly. "Great, go wait for me in your classroom, okay? And Donghyun? Don't worry, I'll keep him safe."

"I trust you, hyung." Just then, Donghyun's smile fell and his expression turned serious. "You better not break that trust, you don't wanna know what happens."

Dawit stared at him wordlessly, shocked at his sudden change in demeanor. Meanwhile, just behind him, Kyungmin found himself turning the same color as his hair. How sweet was it that Donghyun was really willing to protect him?

"Jeez, I won't, I won't! How can I break someone as fragile as Kyungmin over here?"

"W-What?" Something was wrong. Like, very, very wrong. Why was his heart doing flips right now? And at Dawit, nonetheless. "I'm not fragile! Just a bit lanky, that's all..."

"Whatever you say, Minnie-ah. Anyways, I've got a meeting to attend. See you guys!" With that, the older gave the two a finger gun and ran off to the student council meeting room. As soon as he was out of sight, Kyungmin felt a nudge to his side.

"Minnie-ah? Dawish hyung? That's new. What happened while you two were at the infirmary?" He asked suggestively only to receive an eye roll.

"He helped me get there, that's all." Kyungmin walked away, leaving Donghyun behind before he jogged to follow. "Awww are you mad at me? Don't be so mad, Minnie-ah."

"I'm not mad, you're just an idiot." The redhead insulted sarcastically as they approached the classroom. Donghyun pouted behind him before stopping at the door. "It's almost time for practice, will you be okay on your own?"

"I'm a grown teenager, Donghyun. Of course I'll be fine on my own." Kyungmin rolled his eyes upon seeing the other's worries expression.

"Good, just checking. If anything happens, just call me, okay?"
