(a/n: sorry for the long wait! i got lazy lmao)

"Good news," Kyungmin started, entering the bedroom. "The clothes fit. A bit wide on the shoulders, but still fits."

"That's good, I was worried that it wouldn't. Hey, want me to enroll you into the gym I workout at?"

"Oh, god no! I can't even carry a chair from one classroom to the other, let alone dumbells! The most I can do is pilates." He sat down on the bed that Dawit laid down on, just next to his side.

"Heh, I guess so." Dawit sat and stood up from the bed, walking over to the closet to get a spare blanket that he kept. "You can sleep on my bed, I'll sleep on the couch."

"Actually, I was wondering if we could sleep in the same bed."

Speechless, the older was taken aback. He knew how Kyungmin hated skinship with anyone but Donghyun, so what's with the sudden change?

"D-Don't get any wrong ideas. I'm just a little paranoid…" Kyungmin retorted shyly and looked away. Anywhere but the other's eyes was fine with him.

Dawit was reminded of the scene back in the classroom. It sank his heart every time he thought of it. The image of Kyungmin crying and begging for whatever to stop was forever engraved into his mind.

"Sorry about the intrusion, but I just wanted to ask… what happened? Back in the classroom?" As soon as he asked the question, he didn't fail to notice how the brunette's head slowly turned to him, somewhat shocked. The older began to wonder if he had the right to ask the question at all. "If it's personal, you don't have to talk about it, it's fine."

Usually Kyungmin would shy away from the topic, but something inside him wanted to trust Dawit. He wanted to tell him what was on his mind, what was bothering him, what emotions he's bottled up.

It's only been 2 weeks since their gym talk and the sore throat incident, so they weren't that close yet. But Kyungmin knew he could trust Dawit. He wasn't sure why, he just did. Maybe it was his presence or the fact that he was his senior? Or maybe it's because Donghyun trusted him, too. Whatever it was, Kyungmin's subconscious could never lie to him.

"No, it's okay. I wanna tell you about it."

Dawit turned around from the closet, blanket in hand. He began walking towards the bed, sitting next to the other. "I'm listening."

"When I was younger I got into a car accident." Kyungmin started, staring at his lap. "It was late at night and no one was awake, I was 7. I was just crossing the street to get to my neighbor's house to call my mom because I was accidentally locked out, but I didn't notice the car that was speeding towards me. I can still remember the driver honking and trying his best to stop the car."

"But it was too late. When I got hit, I was lucky I didn't roll under the tires. The sound of screeching tires and what seemed to be the driver driving away to avoid the consequences, not bothering to help me, was the last thing I heard before going unconscious. I gained consciousness for a bit when I heard people screaming and running towards me, before blacking out again. Then, I was at the hospital. But I'm okay now, I didn't suffer any major physical injuries. I just get paranoid…"

Kyungmin stopped it there, noticing that he already had tears dripping from his eyes to the pyjama pants he borrowed. He wiped his eyes with the back of his hand and looked away. "I'm… crying. This is so embarrassing…"

"It's okay to cry, Kyungmin. I'm so sorry that happened to you… don't worry, I'm here for you." Dawit pulled the younger into a hug, letting him cry into his shoulder.

"I-I'm sorry, hyung." Kyungmin apologized in between hiccups, his hands curling into the silky fabric of the other's shirt. Even though he wanted to pull away, his face was buried in the crook of Dawit's neck. He felt… safe. It's not like how he feels with Donghyun. It was different in a way he couldn't describe.
