Eleven

Minutes passed as Eloise stood by the door after hearing gunshots.
She ignored everything around her as she just listened.
Suddenly the gunshots stopped.
Eloise looked around before opening the door.
She couldn't stand around as Leo risked his life.
She hid behind a car and looked around to see Leo and an assassin fighting.
As looked around before grabbing a gun from one of Dante's people who laid on the ground with hundreds of bullets in them.
She watched the fight as she flinched every time Leo was hurt.
Suddenly Leo stabbed the man in the back.
Eloise got up as the man stood up before falling to his knees.
Eloise rushed to the man and shot him in the head before looking at Leo who was badly hurt.
She dropped the gun and ran to him.
"I told you to stay inside the room," he said.
"I had to do something.
I wasn't going to let you die, not like this and not now" she said.
She looked at him when suddenly something changed as she saw his face change.
"I'm supposed to protect you," he said.
"Oh shut up," she said before kissing him causing him to freeze.
She broke from him before looking into his eyes.
"Let me save you when it's needed," she said softly.
He walked to her and caressed her face before kissing her.
She took in a heavy breath as she put her hand on his.
Their lips begin to move together as suddenly everything felt complete.
Suddenly she heard gunshots causing Leo to break the kiss.
He looked over at the door before grabbing his gun that was on the ground.
"Leo wait," she said.
He turned around and looked at her "I love you so please for the love of God don't fucking due in there because I need you" she said softly before walking away to get a car.
He froze at those three words.
She loved him, those words made him feel warm as his heart pounded in his chest but before he could chase after he to protect her he heard more gunshots.
He rushed into the room as Eloise got a car and kick-started it.
She remembered what Leo told her to do if she needed to jump-start a car and followed his instructions before the car started.
She smiled before looking around.
She then felt her lips before blushing.
She told him that she loved him.
Eloise felt happy to know that finally they were possibly together.
Even if her mom fired him Eloise would find a way to be with him as there was no reason more to leave DC.
London was safer but now she no longer had a reason to isolate herself again.
She knew after her mom won violence would be a possibility but she knew that she could get through it as today she had gone through things that shouldn't all happen normally.
Suddenly Leo was next to her as everyone got in except Joe.
"I'll drive," he said.
"No, you can sit next to me and give me directions," she said before smiling.
"Joe's no longer with us," said Charlie.
Eloise looked at her mom before looking at Marcos and Laney.
"I'm sorry," she said.
"He died a hero," said Marcos.
Eloise smiled before driving out of the church as two of Dante's men got the people that were tied up out and Owen.
Leo looked at Eloise as she drove back into the outside.
"You did good Eloise.
Thank you for saving me back there" Leo said.
"I would do it again in a heartbeat," she said as she looked around.
She was still terrified but having Leo with her made it all ok.
