I smile at my granddaughter as she and Ciel dance together. Young blooming love only reminds me of my mate. Why I had turned to a human after her. I can feel tears rolling down my cheeks. Just the tought of my mate who had died still brings me pain. (Y/n) mom was able to restore my love after I lost my mate. I was still falling for the mortal. The pain of lossing your true mate never goes away. "Grandpa are you alright ," (c/n) had suddenly stopped. I wipe my tears and smile. "Of course, " I smile and hold out my hand for her. She takes my hand and I hug her. She hugs back, I kiss her cheek softly. " Make sure you don't lose your mate, " I told her softly, " and make sure to take care as well. " "Grandfather, " she looks at me, " did you lose yours? " "Yes, " I said softly. She hugs me tightly. The doors open and Sebastian walks in. He was dressed in his usual Butler suit. "Ciel please, may I talk to (y/n)'s father, " Sebastian asks the young lord ," alone? " He nods and takes (c/n)'s hand. They leave ,leaving me and Sebastian alone. "Who is after (y/n)," Sebastian asks walking up to me. "The oldest -," I didn't finish because I was cut off by Sebastian. "I mean what is his name? " "His name is Nathan, " I answered, " Claude's half brother." "Half brother, " Sebastian frowns. "My demon mate was Claude's mother who was the oldest," I answered, "until she died." "She was killed by Nathan ," he answered looking me in the eyes, " she was the one keeping Nathan in line. He is not blood related to (y/n)." My eyes grew wide in sudden realization. The reason Hannah took (y/n)'s soul under Claude's control. Claude knew about his older brother. He wanted to keep her from her to keep her safe. "I realized after you had saved her soul what Claude was trying to do, " he said deep in thought. "How did you know what I was thinking, " I ask. "It's written all over your face, " he chuckles softly. "If Claude was trying to keep her safe then why did he not tell us, " I asked my voice rising a little. "Would you have believed him after he tried to get Ciel, " he asked. I stood up straight standing infront of him. "Your right, " I look at him. "Claude would only have more of a hard time," he stood from where he sat ," he may be a spider, but he will do as he wishes." "Just as his brother, " I growl a little. "His brother is stronger than him much stronger , " he said sternly, " you may have a chance if you figure out his weakness fast. Other than that you are screwed." I chuckle to my self," way to bost my confidence." He chuckles with me.  I got serous and so did he. "Will he go after the rest of the family, " I ask. "For sure, " he nods ," even me. " "What will you do if he comes for you, " I ask. "I shall do my best to try and end him, " he frowns with determination, " if he kills me, he won't stop because I am not his target." I nod and was about to say something before I heard (y/n) walk in. I smile at her and pull her close. "What are you doing here my kitten, " I ask kissing her neck softly. "I was starting to get bored and fall asleep," she answered trying to hide a yawn. I tickle her to where she was laughing hard trying to get away. "N-no, " she crys out laughing, " s-stop! He then leaves to find where (c/n) and Ciel went. I turn to follow but I heard a thud. I turn around to see a man with white black and red face paint. He had hit (y/n) on the back of the head hard putting her out now that I was facing them I see he also placed a cloth over her mouth and nose. I jump on him growling. I rip him to shreds not caring that Ciel and (c/n) ran into the room. When I was done I turn to see (y/n) out cold. "No, " I cry and try to wake her, " you need to stay up,  stay awake! "
