"You again?" The black-haired hero questioned.
The man was none other than Eraserhead, an underground hero. he stood staring, his black hair floating with his eyes glowing red, his gaze focused on a man in a suit, beaten and burned. The villain was held by a man in a waistcoat and dress pants. On the face of the man was a metal fox facemask.
"What can I say? we're two sides of a coin" The long-eared vigilante shrugged as he threw the villain at Eraserhead.
He and Kitsune were familiar with each other, very familiar. Being an undergrounder Eraserhead often took on the seedier villains. The same villains that Kitsune took immense pleasure in taking down.
"What did this one do?" Eraserhead asked while zip-tying the villain
"He's a small part of a teeny tiny sex trafficking ring" Kitsune explained. There was a clear disdain for the man in his voice. Even through the obvious thick voice changer, Kitsune managed to get tone across easily. His voice was one of the more enigmatic things about the vigilante. The heroes knew that his eye colour was green, and his body type hadn't been altered. granted they didn't know much, but Kitsune wasn't one for dropping hints.
The hero sighed as Kitsune threw him an all too familiar notebook. "All in there, I don't really have time to deal with it at the moment so... bon voyage" Kitsune jeered. He knew the hero disliked how Kitsune tended to give away information
Upon picking up the plain green notebook, Eraserhead spied the first three pages. Those were the ones with the most information. The small murder map on the first page detailed a woman named Keiko Filho to be at the centre of the ring.
"Why do I recognise that name?" Eraserhead muttered, loud enough to be heard but not intending to be.
"She's a politician, pretty controversial," Kitsune commented while pointing at one of the red lines.
"The Meta truth party. Makes sense, crazy fanatics" The hero muttered.
As Eraserhead continued to read the book, Kitsune quickly activated his quirk and flew his way atop a nearby building
"There are more criminals afoot, I'll see you later Aizawa!" He shouted while running from building to building, far out of sight of the famous undergrounder.
The hero let out a sigh as he noticed the red and blue lights flashing against the wall of the alley. He brought out the bound villain and continued his patrol like normal. It was likely Nezu who would be the one who'd actually decode what Kitsune's notes meant. Part of it was written like any other notes, some were written in 'Kitspeak', as the vigilante called it. Usually, the Kitspeak led them to a clue or sometimes to their goal. It was handy.
As Aizawa slumped through the streets, he took in the calm. It was quieter than most nights, and knowing that Kitsune was out tonight, he knew it was unlikely he'd have to fight any more villains. Aizawa sometimes wondered why the hell he ever let Kitsune go. The kid had a very powerful fire quirk and a tenacity fit for a headlining hero. He was a dangerous vigilante. Yet, Aizawa couldn't ever bring himself to arrest Kitsune.
Speaking of the fox vigilante, he was currently fighting another remnant of the Shie Hassakai. Another one. The yakuza was a thorn in Kitsune's side. Well, not a thorn. More a stone on the path, one that Kitsune stubbed his toe on and never stopped kicking since that day. All of them were warned to fear Kitsune the day they saw Overhaul turn to ash. But Kitsune was not one to let up, especially in regard to his family.
Ever wonder what Kitsune Koffe would be like if the author knew what they were doing? Yeah, so do I, so I made this. I'm going to try to update once a week. If you have read the previous iteration of this book then I still recommend reading onward. The story and writing will be vastly improved from the last time.
