As the sun rose over Musatafu, Izuku let out a yawn and a stretch. The cosy two-story building he lived in illuminated with the rising sun. The green-haired teen got out of bed and made his way toward the other side of the building. Said side housed the younger member of the small family, Eri.
The white-haired girl was woken calmly to what could only be described as a radiating smile. With a smile, Eri jumped up, grabbing Izuku in a morning hug
"How's my favourite sister?" Izuku questioned as he returned the hug.
"Silly 'Zuku, I's your only sister" Eri giggled.
Izuku laughed and helped Eri out of bed and to get dressed. It had been a hard year, and she wasn't as capable as most 7-year-olds but Eri was getting more accustomed to living with Izuku.
The two made their way from their apartment downstairs into one of Musutafu's most famous cafés, Kitsune Koffe. It was owned by Izuku's mother before she passed. Even though he was only 12 at the time, he still took over.
"Can I has a cookie?" Eri requested while staring puppy eyes at Izuku.
Izuku tilted his head down as Eri shot her shot. "Did you eat breakfast? He questioned.
Eri pouted and shook her head. Thusly, a bowl of cereal was placed in front of her. The girl pouted at the soup and yet ate the meal. While Eri ate at a table behind the counter, Izuku opened the café while donning his apron. With the sign flipped and the door unlocked, Kitsune Koffe was open.
Once Eri presented Izuku with an empty cereal bowl, Izuku reached into the oven and grabbed one of the freshly baked cookies. "Gooey, just like you like them!" he beamed.
Eri's eyes lit up as she chowed down the mucilaginous treat. Izuku patted the younger's head as he began to prepare his croissant batch for the day "-come on Iida, we won't be late, I promise!" Izuku heard along with the ring of his bell.
He turned from the oven to see a group of four teens walking in the door. Izuku quickly screened them. They were all distinct, other than their UA school uniform
One had blue hair, rigid like a robot and glasses. Two had brown hair, dancing bubbly and a pink aura. Three had dark green hair, a frog-like deposition and her tongue was sticking out.
Number four was of special interest to Izuku. She had blonde hair and beaming blue eyes. A chip on her shoulder and pride oozing out of her. Despite this, Izuku didn't falter, not like he'd be recognised anyway.
"Welcome to Kitsune Koffe, can I fire your orders?" Izuku asked with a beaming smile. The bubbly girl smiled at him and requested an espresso. The robot requested an americano. Froggy ordered a green tea. Blondie, on the other hand, she had questions.
"What's a Nine tail?" She read from the menu
"Not for you, It's something for someone specific" Izuku replied as he started the other orders.
"Think I can't handle it?" The girl smirked "I just so happen to be a Hero student, I can handle anything" She exclaimed
Izuku tightly gripped the handle of his espresso machine while trying to bite back the flame that was building. Sadly, he failed as a bright red inferno billowed from his eye. Izuku cursed as he covered his eye with his other hand.
"Look, I can't serve a nine tail to someone younger than 18." Izuku muttered as he placed the three drinks on the counter "500, 450 and 600 whenever you're ready" He said to the other three
"Come on Yagi, we don't wanna be late!" Bubbles exclaimed.
"Fine, I'll have a manilo" She muttered while placing exact change on the counter.
