"Eda, I-.. I've decided to join the Bard Coven, and... I think we should see other people.." Raine folded their knees to their chest and looked away.
Eda hesitated before responding,
"Ahahah, Raine, c'mon! You c- You can't be serious! I mean, come on, you're not seriosuly gonna leave me behind just because- Just because our whackjob of an Emperor doesn't want you talking to me because I'm not in some stupid Coven..?" Eda clutched their hand and teared up, "Rainestorm, please! You don't have to listen to them!.."
Raine paused, tears forming in their eyes.
"Eda, listen... I don't want to leave you behind, really... I just.. I don't want either of us to face the consequences of getting caught."
"Raine..." Eda's voice broke.
The two shared one final kiss, and before Eda was able to say anything else, Raine had already walked away.
