eventually, the day came for the field trip to the aquarium. I was kind of nervous to be partners with Vance because what would people say; the thing is for field trips at our school when you have a partner you can wander off together A.K.A being alone together. Most people pick their boyfriend or girlfriend to go with, so they can make out or whatever; but honestly me and Bruce never do that since he's in different classes than me so that means we're never together at school. But because of that, I can do Vance this favor without being worried ; doesn't mean that I'm not going to worry though. There's still people that Bruce knows and that know me and Bruce are a thing so it won't be easy but I can do it, I think.
I got ready for school knowing I'm going to be with Vance all day like I said, I'm scared but it will be fine. I put on my outfit and brushed my hair, and walked out the door. I don't like eating in the mornings, it's weird and if i do my stomach hurts for the rest of the day so It doesn't matter much. Here's what i wore :

Pretty basic, I know. Well it's basic for me but still I'm going to the aquarium, not a fashion show plus I'm lazy. Anyways I walked to school and got to science class, we were leaving for the field trip half an hour after school would start so we would be there the whole day. I walked in and who do I see as soon as I get in the door? Vance, but not a normal tank top sleeveless jean jacket and pants Vance; I see a graphic tee jeans and leather jacket Vance with combat boots.

I walked up to him amazed,
"Jeez what happened to you, finally got style Vancey??" I said mockingly
"Yeah I just wanted to dress up for the trip, nothing more." he said scratching his neck
" hmm ok whatever you say. " I replied walking away
I saw that mostly everyone was here and the only kid left in the class was already here but I saw Alison and I walked over to her desk.
"Hey Ali. " I said creeping up from behind her
"God celi you scared me! " she said punching my arm
"Haha, so who's ur partner for the trip?"
"Oh no one special, JUST JOSHUA!! " she said in excitement.
If you're confused, Joshua is her LONG TIME crush. She's liked the guy since kindergarten but she never talks to him, she just stares at him and stalks him. One time she wanted us to walk on the opposite side of the street so that he could see her new haircut, granted he did see it because when we got to school he complimented her; But enough about that.
"WOW WHATT, AAAA!!!" I said as we screamed together.
We jumped up and down as we squealed, from the corner of my eye I see Vance looking at us; jesus sometimes when he looks at me I get chills but good chills.
"HOW DID U GET JOSHUA TO BE UR PARTNER?" I asked her
"well since I didn't have a partner because you got assigned to Vance, I thought it would be good to ask josh to be partners so I asked him. And he said yes so YEA!!!"
"Woww that's a whole love story aww." I said
Just then Joshua walked up to Alison and tapped her shoulder.
"Hey guys um Alison Mr. Sanders said to get in our pairs, soo-" Joshua said while looking at me, suggesting I should leave.
And hey it was kind of rude but Alison also looked like she wanted to be alone with him. But first of all Joshua, she was my wife first soo fuck off respectfully. Anyways after they basically kicked me out of the conversation I left to go to Vance, Joshua did say that Mr. Sanders wanted us to get to our partners. I made my way to Vance and sat down next to him; everyone sat down and Mr. Sanders made a whole speech about the rules and expectations of us to follow during the field trip but at this point I already know, after a while Mr. Sanders said something about a volunteer coming to basically monitor us but I just assumed it was someone's parent.
After Mr. Sanders' long monologue we finally got up to get on the bus. We went outside to the parking lot where the bus was and we got assigned seats based on our pairs, obviously that ment I had with Vance and I was a bit disappointed to not sit with Alison but she would probably like sitting with Joshua anyways. I don't mind sitting with him, I always sit with him on his bed and sit in his car but it's just that it's different here he's different today, in and out. I was so tired, I didn't go to sleep until 2am which isn't my normal schedule. I fell asleep and didn't wake up until Vance woke me up, all I heard was
hey HEY PEREZ WAKE UP WE'RE HERE ALREADY
I opened my eyes to Vance looking at my face, my head was rested on his shoulder but I moved as soon as I gained consciousness. Everyone else got off the bus and we stood outside for a moment. Mr. Sanders was talking to himself and finally he told us that the volunteer hasn't shown up yet and that he doesn't know when he'll come.
"Well we're not wanting for him, he'll just have to find us inside." Mr. Sanders said while walking inside
We all follow him and Mr. Sanders stops while we're walking right behind him, I couldn't see why because me and Vance were in the back but I try to get closer while he talks.
" kids I'd like to introduce our volunteer to you guys, you probably know him because he's also a student." Mr. Sanders says
