the two boys look at araceli.
both hoping that she will pick them, and dump the other one away.
"you two make this shit so hard to do, fuck."
I said still trying to process all that I heard.
"After all this I know what I'm going to do, but i don't want one of you getting mad at me or the other person because of a decision."
they both nodd just trying to hear the answer that they want.
"ok well I gave it a lot of thought and I think I've made the decision that I want, not what you two want.."
"I'm so sorry Vance but I love Bruce, you're a great guy and I love you too but with you it's just s family type of love. With Bruce it's different, I love him for him he's someone I can see myself marrying in the future but until then I'm going to stay with him. "
Bruce was so happy that he went up to araceli, picked her up and spun her around kissing her all over.
Meanwhile Vance, just standing there silent finally said something.
"It's ok araceli I love you more than family but I want what's best for you, I just thought that meant you being with me."
He walked away and told Mr. Sanders that he felt sick, he let him go home and he didn't speak to Araceli for a while. But after 2 months the two started talking again, Bruce didn't care that Araceli talked to Vance again because he felt bad for him. Eventually all three of them started to hang out and later Vance met a boy who he would soon date, he told Araceli all about them and the two couples would go on double dates to the drive in and get ice cream together. In the end it was better for all of them
Araceli got to spend her life with Bruce,
Bruce got to spend his life with Araceli, and Vance got to explore more into his sexuality to find himself.
And they lived happily ever after 😢😢
