"I can't really do much," I laughed as Hawk grabbed us both a golf putt.

"I can help you, you took your meds right?" he turned to me worried.

"Yes, I took them twenty minutes before you picked me up like you said," I shook my head at him.

"Good because I want this to be as pain free as possible for you," he smiled as he putted his ball towards the hole.

"You're terrible," I grabbed my putt and hit the ball into the hole first time.

"I thought you said you couldn't do much," he looked at me angrily.

"If I really want it I can force myself through the pain," I looked at him.

"Alright then, game on," he smirked as we moved onto the next hole.

Even with a few broken ribs I had managed to win, only with three points to spare, but I had still won.

"Oh come on," he sighed as I told him the scores "Are you sure you're not counting wrong? You did miss like lots of school last year," he pulled the card from the hand and began tallying the scores up for himself.

He looked at me and rolled his eyes.

"I was right?" I asked.

"Yeah," he threw the paper back at me and I put it into my bag.

"Can we go and play on the arcade games now, please?" I pouted.

"I guess so," he shrugged still being moody.

"Come on, you're going to beat me at basketball because I doubt I'll even be able to throw a ball," I laughed.

"Okay come on then let's go and play that," he grabbed a hold of my hand gently and walked beside me.

I smiled down at the ground and followed him.

He placed one quarter into each machine and the basketballs began coming out. I picked up my first ball and threw it with little to no power, it hadn't even made it close to the basket, so I gave up already.

Hawk laughed at me and continued to throw his into his own basket before taking the balls from mine and throwing them as well, earning him extra points.

"I won, you should be so proud of me," he stood cockily before we both burst out laughing.

"Seeing as you're so good, we shouldn't play anymore, let's just go somewhere," I turned to him.

"Yeah, sure," he grabbed my hand again and we began walking "I'd say our usual spot but it's a bit of a walk," he shrugged.

"Well we could, it might take us a while but who cares right?" I smiled.

"Alright, let's do it then," he laughed.

Even though the walk to the car park from golf n stuff was only about ten minutes, it took us double that time plus the ten minutes it took for us to walk to the top, so all together a trip that should have taken up fifteen minutes took us thirty, but we didn't care, it was worth it.

Once we were at the top, Hawk helped me onto the ledge and wrapped his arm gently around my waist, keeping me close.

"I wouldn't want you to fall," he looked down at me.

"Johnny would not be happy with you," I joked.

"Yeah, well, I can't miss out again," he admitted.

"What?" I furrowed my brows.

"Look, Dylan, I still love you, and I know I didn't show it and I know I kind of ruined everything with us, but I can't help it," he spoke down to me.

"I still love you too Hawk," I sighed.
