"Ladies and gentlemen, you've been waiting a long time, but we're finally here. Dojos from all across the Valley have been training for a year for their shot at glory. You ready to meet them?" Daryl announced.

"All right, this Sensei and dojo need no introduction, he took the All Valley by storm in nineteen eighty-four and eight-five and quickly became one of the greatest underdogs in the history of the sport. Last year this dojo came out of nowhere and made it to the finals. They've got some new fighters, and they're ready to show the world that they're the best around, give it up for Miyagi-Do Karate led by two time All Valley Champion, Daniel LaRusso!" he exclaimed as Miyagi-Do's jogged out.

"This next dojo took last years title, but they're under new management. Can they reign supreme once more? And last years runner up, he may be wearing a new gi, but one things for sure, Robby Keene and his team are ready to strike! Hailing from Reseda, defending champions and still the most badass name for a dojo, here comes Cobra Kai!" he shouted as Cobra Kai walked out.

"And finally, this dojo is making their All Valley debut, though you'll recognise a few familiar faces. Every year a new dojo rises up the ranks, does this newcomer have what it takes to win it all? Please welcome Eagle Fang Karate, led my Sensei Johnny Lawrence and defending champion Miguel Diaz!" Daryl announced before Miguel and I nodded at each other, and walking out proudly behind Johnny.

I looked across to Miyagi-Do and smiled at Hawk as he turned his head, and then looked back to where Kreese and Silver were stood, staring over at us smugly.

"At the end of the day, only one of these dojos can be crowned Grand Champion. Welcome to the fifty-first annual All Valley Under-18 Karate tournament!" Daryl announced and then laughed "Its karate time," he added.

"Eagle Fangs, listen up, some of you have been here before, and others it's your first time here, I still remember competing here, where I pummelled the ever-loving crap out of my opponents as the crowd cheered," he smiled "They tried to soften you up, that bullshit's behind us now and remember, if Cobra Kai wins, that means no more Eagle Fang, but we're not going to let that happen are we?" he asked.

"No Sensei," we replied loudly in unison.

"We have a reigning champion and we have the best in the Valley so let's get out there, and fight. Are you ready?" he pointed between Miguel and I before raising his eyebrows.

"Yes Sensei!" we shouted back.

"Alright, good, let's warm up," he nodded at us.

"Are you nervous?" I asked Miguel.

"Uh yeah," he shook his head.

"Are you okay? You seem distracted," I looked at him worried as we began to stretch.

"I really am just nervous, that's all," he smiled while trying to reassure me.

"Diaz, a word," Johnny called him over.

"Go," I laughed as he looked at me before heading over to the rest of the group and warming up.

"I don't think I'm ready," Mitch stressed.

"Look, calm down, we're all really good at what we do," I looked between them all while Miguel joined us again.

"Yeah, we've got this guys," Miguel sighed.

I looked at him with furrowed brows and he shook my concerned look off.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to begin our skills competition," Daryl announced once everyone was warmed up.

This part went by pretty fast. Demetri had his turn first and each showcase took, longest, five minutes. I was impatiently waiting for my name to be called, it seemed like I was going to be the last because Sam was the last person, except myself.
