Unexpected

Court

Today was the day I had to stand in court and defend the reasons that I kept Ronnie out of Noas life. I hate this, how does he have the right to take me to court when he walked away. Sebastian contacted his legal team and they have helped me so much.

I'm stood in front of the mirror, taking a deep breath trying to calm myself. I look up and see Seb standing in the door way.
"Hey baby"
"Hey"
He walks over to me and wraps his arms around me waist.
"You okay?"
I shake my head and he kisses my cheek "everything is going to be okay"
I turn and wrap my arms around his neck.
"Seb what if he wins"
"That's not going to happen okay. He won't take her from us baby."

"Us?"
"Yeah us, I know she isn't mine and we've only been together a short amount of time but Charlie, I love that little girl so much and I love you. I'm here for it all okay?"
I nod and kiss him deeply, once we break apart I smile up at him "I don't know how I managed without you"
He smiles "well you'll never be without me again"

Lisa is taking care of Noa and seb is coming with me to court. I kiss Noa and head to the car. Once inside the court, I see tara, she is sat behind Ronnie. She smirks at me as I walk to my seat. I can't believe her. I see her turn and her face drops. I turn and see Chris sit down next to Seb. He smiles at me and I smile back.

Chris come to see me a few days after our call and apologised, he had spoken to Tara and I was right she was helping Ronnie but none of us knew why. The hearing began and it was a lot of back and forth, he said she said. There were times I cried, times I wanted to scream and most of all times I just wanted this to be over. But I guess for some lucky reason, justice was on our side. He wasn't granted shared or permanent custody. The judge agreed that he should not be allowed any form of access to Noa after what he did to me.

After we left court, I hugged Chris and kissed Seb and thanked them for there support. I notice Ronnie and he didn't even look upset. I don't understand why he did all of this. I do notice Tara is no where to be seen so I guess she wasnt going to be sticking by his side. As we get in the car, my phone rings and I see it's Lisa.

"Hey Lisa, we are on...."
"Charlie Noa is gone"
"What? What do you mean gone?"
"I went to the bathroom and I came back and she was gone. I've phoned the police."
I hang up "get us home now. Someone took Noa"
I can't breath, I can't form a thought. Seb grabs me before I fall and we race to the car.
I need to find my baby.

Seb POV

As we pull up outside, Charlie runs inside. The police are already here and talking with Lisa.
"Lisa?"
She looks over and I can see her looking so distraught.
"Charlie! I'm so sorry" Lisa is crying her eyes out, Charlie walks to her and wraps her arms around her.
"It's okay. It's not your fault"
The police sit with Charlie and ask for pictures of Noa and who would want to kidnap her.

"There is only one person I can think of. We just came from court, the judge denied my ex access and his physco girlfriend disappeared from court before the ruling. She must have been planning this"
I see Chris walk over to Charlie and sit down "her name is Tara Testa"
Chris wraps Charlie in his arms "I'm so sorry Charlie"
She sobs into his chest and I don't know what to do. How do I make this better?

The police leave, they head out and start searching. There is a car outside the house incase she comes back.
Chris and Lisa have headed home to tell the other members of the family and get a search party together. Charlie is sat on the sofa, she hasn't said a word.
I sit down next to her and wrap my arm around her. She falls into my chest, sobbing.

"My baby is gone Seb"
"We will find her, I promise. We will find our little girl" holding her as tight as possible. Praying that someone will find our little girl.
