I can do this, Keefe thought. Keefe raised the leaping crystal. It will be fine, they will forgive you, Keefe continued to think over and over. Soon Keefe saw it, Everglen. He gulped. It had been twenty years since he had left, hopefully they wouldn't hate him. He ran up and knocked on the door. And waited. And waited.
"What is- WAIT KEEFE," said a familiar voice. Keefe nodded. A pregnant Biana was looking right at him like he was an alien or something. Then she started hugging him. Soon she stopped. "DEX GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE," Biana hollered. Soon Dex started running down the stairs.
"Biana, what is it?" Dex asked. Biana pointed to Keefe. "KEEFE!" Dex yelled and started hugging Keefe.
"Now you guys are starting to sound like Silveny," Keefe joked. Dex and Biana avoided his gaze. "What's wrong?" Keefe asked.
"A lot has changed around here," Biana said solemnly. She moved her hands to the kitchen to make them know they should go to the kitchen. "Here, take a seat. This is gonna be a lot to take in," Biana said.
