Chapter 6

Biana started screaming. Dex freaked out. Keefe ran out of the room. He decided he should not be there at that time. He sat on the stairs of Everglen, missing Sophie like crazy. His tears stung as he pulled on his hair.

Then Dex busted into the room "Biana is in labor..." Dex said. Keefe just stared at Dex.

"Okay this is... um... great..." Keefe said sarcastically.

"Dex! Help!!" Biana screamed as Dex ran into the room.

Keefe facepalmed. He got up and went into his bag and grabbed his imparter. "Hopefully nothing happened to Elwin," Keefe thought. He started hailing Elwin and someone picked up. Elwin was looking very tired.

"Hello... who is this?" Elwin asked.

"Oh... umm... it's me Keefe," Keefe said. Elwin looked confused and then it hit him.

"Oh you're that person. Listen I don't have time for this," Elwin said.

"Wait... please. Biana went into labor and we need someone to help her," Keefe begged.

"Sorry but I don't do that anymore. Ever since... Nevermind... It's not worth it. No matter what I do, everyone around me will eventually die..." Elwin said.

 "Come Elwin you CAN do this-this..." Keefe took a deep breath, "No one could have saved her... it's okay." Keefe looked back up at the imparter. The screen had gone blank. But Elwin loomed over Keefe.

"How can I help?" He asked.
