Robins POV
As I was thinking about why God had to make love so hard for me they entered. raven and beast boy. It was supposed to be a date.
Yet something was wrong. The expressions embroidered on their faces clearly displayed that.
"Whas up?" Asked cyborg beside me, also noticing the grim expression on his friend who was usually the goofy one.
"I think I might have figured out about the symbol Slade had!" He said all in a flash.
Burning hatred flowing in my veins as I heard that name.
"What!!!!" I screamed.
The other team member may think I was mad and crazy but slade was one of most dangerous villains we had to deal with.
"Raven, take off your hood" said beast boy calmly.
She just nodded and slowly took the hood of her hoodie of her head. What the fuck!! Did he abuse her? Did he hurt her!
Oh he was so going down! I felt a sudden pang in my heart . Not romantic. Just a wave of being brotherly washed over me.
She was kinda like my sister. I wasn't having any shit from slade. I know that we only met her yesterday but this feeling was drowning me. She was... important .
Raven was raven except for the hair that went to her waist, topped with the fact that she had the same fucking mark that Slade had been threatening us with.
"Yep" said beast boy knowingly observing my expression.
"How, when and what the fuck?!!" I screamed uncontrollably.
"Dude, stop with the swearing and let the poor girl explain!" Cyborg practically yelled to calm me down.
"Okay, soo raven, do you know who Slade is? " I asked trying to restrain myself from swearing again.
"Um, so, That name sounds familiar but no and I had a nightmare yesterday and woke up with my hair like this, and for this symbol I literally don't know what it even is" she said all at once.
nightmare. I swear starfire said something about her having nightmares before discovering her powers.
"Starfire!" I yelled for her.
Wow I was so dumb. How could she fucking hear me if she was all the way in her room.
I called her on the titans communicator.
"Yes Friend robin?" She innocently asked not knowing the torture she was putting me through with her personality.
"Can you come down for a second?" I asked.
"Sure" was the last thing I heard before the call ended.
Ravens POV
As the fit tamaranean came through the doors I noticed how robin was staring at her so lustfully.
Geez these 2 should honestly get a room.
"What is the problem Friends?" Enquired starfire.
"So, remember you said something about nightmares and powers?" Robin asked.
"Oh yes! But wait, I said that last year! How did you manage to remember what I said?" She asked innocently.
"I just remembered" robin shrugged of blushing as hard as a ripe cherry.
" Yeah right" muttered beast boy .
"So it is very normal to have nightmares and have a transformation but- what happened to your forehead freind raven?!" She asked me in worry.
I have to admit that I was pretty touched when starfire called me a friend.
"Raven, just start your nightmare story from the start to the end " beast boy said saving me from wasting my breath to tell her that i was just as clueless.
" Um, so I was having a happy moment with someone when a creepy guy with a orange and black mask came and dragged me, next thing I know I was chained up and that -that guy came and said something about dark finding light, a master rising and me fulfilling my destiny" I stated waiting for someone to actually open their mouths and start talking.
"Does he look like the guy you were talking about?" Robin asked hesitantly handing me a picture .
I gasp. It was him. But how. Why?
"Y-yes" I whispered quietly.
"Okay, since you don't know him would it be okay for you to come tomorrow?" Robin asked smiling warmly.
"It is because normally on tamaran similar things happen and you normally figure it out after the second nightmare" starfire gushed out in an explanatory way.
"Um sorry but I have to go tomorrow " I said not meeting her eyes.
"Why" asked cyborg with a concerned look on his face.
"My mother and I are going somewhere important to learn what I am, who I am and discover the truth, she also said that we wouldn't be coming back" I said ripping it off like an annoying bandaid.
"What?!"beast boy said, his cute ears drooping.
"She didn't sound happy about it and we're leaving tomorrow " I explained even though a pang of guilt was going through me when I glanced at beast boy's broken expression.
Cute but broken.
"You have that communicator I gave you right?" Robin asked.
"Yea" I replied.
"Contact us using that tomorrow"cyborg pleaded.
"Okay" I said happily feeling relieved that there was a solution found.
"Well I gotta go" I said reluctantly once looking at the time on the communicator.
"I drop you off" beast boy said.
Beast boys POV
I was so sad. I don't know why. I was gonna miss her so bad. Her amethyst eyes, purple hair, her red gem, her lavender scent! I was so gonna miss it all.
That's why I offered to drop her off. I was only 7:30 but since it was October it was already dark.
As we walked and walked and walked I wasnt really paying attention to where I was going.
"Hey!watch out!" Raven yelled and grabbed my head. I gasped.
My head was inches away from hitting the signpost.
"What were you thinking?" She asked pouting. She looked so cute when she pouted.
I was thinking about her. of course I didn't tell her that. She would be so creeped out.
We finally arrived the apartment on the third floor.
"Well, this is it" she said sighing.
I suddenly felt a strong urge to hug her. So I did.
She was limp for a second but Hugged me back a second later.
"I don't know how to say this but I am gonna miss you so much, I know we just met yesterday but still" I blabbered.
"You know the strange thing? I feel the same way" she said hugging harder.
