Ravens POV
I climbed the steps to grandmother's old house as Rosalie clung onto me tighter. I needed to tell the titans about this and most importantly I needed to get her back to her sister.
She looked so broken.
"Hey, darling"my grandmother smiled. She can be so happy for an old person.
"Hey, grandmother, does Slade love his daughters?" I asked as the question sparked its way out of my mouth.
I didn't mean to be so bold. I mentally face palmed .
Her face darkened. The face that was so cheerful a second ago was now darkening continuously.
"He hates them, as do they fear him" she whispered.
No wonder the girl was so frightened when her mouth uttered his name.
"I'll be in my room" I said cradling Rosalie.
Beast boy's POV
Oh my gosh. I couldn't remove her from my mind! It was as if she was glued to my brain with extra sticky glue!
"Hey man! We're watching a movie on the couch!" He grinned full of cheers.
"Sure" I replied knowing he was about to invite me.
He simply grinned and started heating up some popcorn. I wonder how his date went with bee.
It seemingly went well since he was all smiles. We were watching a series of unfortunate events.
We were watching that episode where aunt Josephine was killed. It was really sad. By the end of the episode we were all tears.
Ravens POV
As I sat her down on the bed she asked me" what's your name?". I smiled at how cute she was.
"Raven" I responded. Gosh! I smiled way too much these days.
I was supposed to channel my emotions but no, I had to meet a super cute guy and then meet a cute girl! What the fuck!
Love was doing this to me! Beast boy, beast boy, beast boy! Oh my gosh. I can't like him. Even if I did he'd never like me. I just know it.
"I'm gonna call some friends and introduce you" I said calmly.
"No- no needles?" She asked hesitantly.
Wait what. Needles? Why did that have to come up? It hit me.
My eyes burned as they stared at the scratches on her arms, dried with blood. Slade.
"No" I said. I knew that if I asked her about the scratches she would burst into tears.
I won't ask her. Not just yet.
I picked up the titans communicator and called group call. Their faces appeared on the screen .
"Hey raven" they all said in unison.
"Hey, I didn't have an extra nightmare but I may have discovered something about Slade" I stated calmly.
Robins face went from nervous to agitated.
"Come here sweetie" I beckoned Rosalie to come to the screen.
Gosh. I called her sweetie.
This was so not me. The titans grew curious before they saw Rosalie.
"This is Rosalie, Slade's daughter" I shrugged.
Their jaws practically fell open.
