Allie's POV:

The next day I rang a lawyer and set up a video meeting for later in the day. The lawyer said it was a straightforward case and since I haven't had any run ins with the law and am a model citizen it should be a quick and easy transition. She said it could take as little as six weeks to get the visa and that we would meet the next day to sign papers and such. I asked about going to visit Lizzie while it was being processed, and long story short she said yes. Although on entry I would have to prove I wasn't staying in the US and should only visit once a month for a couple days at a time, so it doesn't affect the visa.

Lizzie and I spent the rest of the day discussing when we could visit each other. We decided that I would meet her in New York for her brothers birthday and she would come down on weekends when she wasn't shooting. We also decided that I would stay here instead of going home with Lizzie. We promised to call each other all the time, which won't be hard to keep since we only want to talk to each other. We worked out that I would only be in the UK for two and a have weeks before I meet her family. The thought of Lizzie leaving was awful, but we still had three days together before she leaves, and what's six weeks compared to a lifetime?

That night, while Lizzie and I were curled up in bed she enquired about what happened with Rebecca. I told her the truth; that we met in Uni and were together for almost three years. I told her that she was narcissistic and didn't like me talking about me feelings and that why I struggle with it now. When I finished telling her she pulled me closer kissing the top of my head and telling me that I'm save with her. It felt like a weight lifted from my chest when I told her and hearing her response made me so happy. I just know it's going to be hard to break bad habits.

Today I woke up before Lizzie and made her breakfast in bed. When I realised, we quite literally had nothing, I decide to run to the shops. I left Lizzie a note on the kitchen counter in case she woke up, telling her I'd gone to the shop. While I was at the shop, I picked up some stuff to make a full English, I also got some of the vanilla coffee sirup that Lizzie likes. I ended up getting a lot of food, enough to fill the fridge and cupboards. I got back and the note hadn't been moved, so I assume Lizzie is still asleep. I unpack the shopping and start on Lizzie breakfast. I finish and set it up in the tray with a coffee and glass of orange juice. I take it up to Lizzie, who is still sound asleep. I put it on the bed side table, and wake her with kisses.

"Good morning, baby." She says kissing me back.

"Good morning, darling. I made you some breakfast." I tell her, placing the tray on her lap as she sits up.

"Thank you, love. This looks amazing." I smile at the new pet name.

We leave to go to the laywers office about half an hour before the appointment; I sit in the passenger seat, while Lizzie drives, continually rooting through my bag checking I have everything. I feel a weight on my thigh and feel a sense of relief. I place my bag on the floor and slide my hand into Lizzies.

"It'll be okay. She said you have nothing to worry about." She comforts me.

"You're right we'll be in and out. I just have to sign some papers." I agree with her.

We sat waiting to be called into the lawyers office, my leg bouncing on the floor as my anxiety rises with every second that passes. I take deep breaths tapping each of my fingers to my thumbs repetitively.

"Let's place eye spy." Lizzie whispers.

"What?" I ask snapping my head to her making sure I heard her.

"I'll go first." She continues to name letters and getting me to guess. After a few rounds, my breathing had regulated, and I was focused on trying to pick things that Lizzie would never guess.
