Chapter 6: Framed
Season 5 Episode 6: Fallen
*Trigger Warning*

Tonight was the awards night for both the military and police, Isabella wasn't nominated for any awards or knew any officers that were so she decided not to go and joined her older brother since he would be getting an award for his work.

Isabella sat next to Theodore and the rest of his army friends and girlfriends for the award ceremony, Theo had gotten his award already and they just clapped for the rest who were called up for their awards. Isabella's phone buzzed with a message from Jay.

Jay Halstead: shots fired near the venue for the police awards I will send the address

"Hey Theo, I gotta go Congratulations on your award," Isabella said whispering into his ear

"Work?" he questioned his younger sister

"Yeah," Isabella said with a smile she quickly kissed his cheek and stood from her seat she grabbed her purse and phone bidding everyone a goodbye, and walked away from the table.

Once Isabella had left the venue she called Jay, "Halstead" Isabella said walking out of the venue towards her car.

"We got shots fired near the venue that's being held for the awards," Jay said out of breath, "Active shooter"

"Okay, I will be there in 5," Isabella said ending the call and pulling out of the parking lot with lights and sirens.

Isabella arrived at the scene right as the team showed up in their blue uniform, while Isabella was wearing a black off-the-shoulder dress that had a long slight on her right leg and favorite red bottom heels. Isabella followed them up the stairs and into the house standing behind Jay her heels clicked against the hardwood floors upstairs.

"I got two down!" Hank yelled from downstairs

Isabella and Jay went upstairs to clear the rooms, and as they cleared the last room a victim was lying against the wall bleeding from his neck.

Jay kneeled to the boy's level and placed two fingers on his neck while his other hand held his gun, "He's got a pulse. Call an ambo" he said.

Isabella nods her head and pulls out Jay's radio from his chest, "This is 5021 Charlie. Roll an ambo to our location" I said into Jay's radio, "3 GSWs, one still breathing"

"Anything on the victims yet?" Hank asked as Isabella walked into the living room.

"Yeah, Grant Hammond, wife Margaret, Son Ryan. Grant was a corporate attorney. Looks like he spent a lot of his time at his church" Isabella said looking at Hank and Jay.

"Hey. I think we found what the killers were looking for upstairs" Adam said standing by the archway, "Looking good Park who's the lucky guy?"

Isabella sent him a smile ignored his question and followed him upstairs. Hank walked in front of them while Jay stood behind her.
