"So, okay, uh, graduated magna cum laude from Loyola and played varsity soccer in high school," Trudy said, crossing her arms against her chest. "What about you, Park? Tell us about your life before becoming a cop."
"Well, I went to a private school in Seoul, was accepted into Seoul National University, and played on the varsity volleyball and cheer teams. After I graduated, I moved to the States when I was 20, joined the police academy, and here I am now," Isabella said, playing with the ends of her hair.
"Smart girl. I heard Seoul National University is really expensive. You must have had a huge scholarship!" Kim said, smiling.
"Something like that," Isabella said, forcing a smile.
"Smart, beautiful—you're the whole package. Any boyfriends in Korea?" Trudy asked, giving Isabella a side hug.
"Yeah, before I came to the states I was in a long term relationship but it ended," Isabella said with a smile.
"How long were you two together?" Trudy asked her.
"5 years" Isabella says shrugging her shoulders.
"Hey guys, sorry to break up the party," Hank said as Isabella chugged the rest of her orange juice. "I got a call from the CI. A drug mule just showed up at his motel. We gotta roll."
They all stood up from their seats and headed out.
"Room 204," Hank said into his radio.
"Copy that," Jay responded as they walked up the steps of the motel.
A guy walked out of the room and headed towards Hank and Adam.
"Sir, can you stop right there, please?" Jay called out.
The man turned around but began walking faster.
"Chicago Police! I need you to stop right there!"
The man grabbed a guy and pushed him before leaping off the second floor. They pulled out their guns and pointed them at him.
"Offender, jump down!"
"Chicago PD!"
The man fired shots toward Kim and Kevin, who were approaching him. He then turned his gun toward Antonio, but before he could fire, everyone shot at him.
"Call it in!" Hank ordered.
