"Buy you a beer?"
Chapter 13: 30 lives
Season 6 Episode 7: Tigger
*Trigger Warning*

"You know, 20 years ago, this neighborhood was all deep-dish. Now it's flatbread and kabobs," Jay said, leaning against the truck.

Isabella and Jay were currently undercover, sitting inside a van outside a church.

"Things change," Isabella replied, turning to look at the computer screen.

"Yeah, I hear you," he said, taking a sip of his coffee.

"Welcome, brothers."

"That's Akeem," Isabella said.

"Welcome. America is not the land of freedom..."

"So, how was your meeting?" Jay asked, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees.

"Good, I was cleared," Isabella said, removing her hair clip and letting her blonde hair down since the clip was starting to bother her.

"I've got eyes on Akeem," Kevin said into his radio.

"Copy," Isabella replied.

"Why are you here?"

"I came to talk to Akeem."

Jay looked at Isabella, ready to rush out, but she blocked him. "Wait, wait, wait—give him a minute."

"Kevin doesn't have a gun with him."

"He's got this."

"You good?" Isabella asked Kevin as he walked toward them.

"Yeah, I'm good. I tried to get Akeem to talk about the bombings," he said, greeting Isabella with a hug and shaking hands with Jay and Hank. "He shut me down."

"You sure his security guard didn't make you?" Isabella asked.

"Jamel just hates Americans on principle. My cover's still good, though."

"Alright, so stay under. Keep pushing," Hank said.

"I don't know what we're waiting for. These guys already detonated one bomb. Let's bring Akeem in," Jay said, looking at Hank.

"We don't have any evidence he's involved," Isabella said, turning to look at him.

"The Chicago Myst Burn manifesto was uploaded from a computer inside that mosque. If you ask me, that's proof enough," Jay said.

"If you ask me, we don't have enough evidence. We need solid proof before we move on Akeem. There are too many eyes on this," Hank said, pulling out his phone. "Another bomb threat. VA Hospital. You and Isabella go check it out."

"Okay."

"Be safe."

"What do we got?" Isabella asked the bomb squad guy.
