This card has some decent artwork and once again we find ourselves seeing another 300 damage ridiculously powerful move. This is just one of two mega rayquzas coming out in the roaring skies expansion, but is by far scarier then its twin at first glance. Let's go over the good stuff:
1: 300 damage OHKO move:
If you want to blow up everything in your way, get a dragon accent rayquaza. Nothing in the format can take a 300 damage attack, not even the tankiest like wailord EX. Sure, the colossal cost is a bit much, as is discarding two energy- that's where emboar comes in, with its flame fandango ability, heaping the fire energy on rayquza to as it thirsts for more. Still, I can't see a deck with this as its sole attacker lasting long battles.
2: The ancient trait:
Wild gives rayquza a resistance to water, grass, electric and fire, complimenting its monstrous 230 Hp. This means some of the popular pokemon like M manectric EX, genesect EX, charizard EX and primal kyrogre are all resisted by this beast.

Now the bad stuff:

1: Its super slow.
Unless you have the spirit link, your're going to have to skip a vital turn you could be ripping your opponents pokemon to shreds. And then there's the cost of five energies.
2: This thing is going to be EXPENSIVE:
This is the case with all Megas. But a Mega rayquza EX that does 300 damage?! Just buying 2 of these and 2 regular rayquza EXs to mega evolve from is going to cost a lot of money. Make sure you want this before you buy it, and if you're one of the lucky ones who opens a pack and finds this, treasure it greatly even if you aren't building a rayquza deck.
