(Weeks Later)
Weeks after the party, things became mostly back to normal after...Until today.
Mateo sat on the couch in the living room, reading a book with Aubrey in the upstairs garden and Derek in his room working on something.
As the three had their day off, Tanya was at work and wouldn't be back until late.
As Mateo read his book, he hears a knock on the door
"Huh?"
Mateo looks over to the door, wondering who could be here today as he wasn't expecting anyone
"Mateo, can you get that!"
He hears his friend Aubrey say from above
"Yeah, yeah I've got it!"
He yells back, getting up from the couch, going over to the door and looking through the peephole.
"The mail bot?"
Though the peephole, he sees a minicon at the door and opens the door at them.
"Hello? How can I help you?"
Mateo asks the minicon below them
The minicon grabs a letter from their bag, handing it out to Mateo
"A letter? Oh thank you!"
Mateo grabs the letter from them, waving bye to them as thy waved back and rolled off
"Hmm"
Mateo hummed, closing the door back, going over to the dinner table and opening the letter.
"Hey, Mateo who was it?"
Aubrey asks, coming up from the hallway from their garden
"The mail bot, they sent this letter to us"
Mateo explains, holding up the opened letter in his hands
"Oh, what is it?"
Aubrey questions, sitting across from them at the table
"Hmm, let's see"
Mateo pulls out the paper from the envelope and reads it
"Oh! It's Mega saying that Bumblebee wants to see us again at earth!"
Aubrey eyes widened a bit
"Doesn't Bumblebee have a new team now?"
"Yep, seems like he wants us to see his new team."
Aubrey nods, getting up from the chair
"Welp, I'm going to wash up then we can go, ok?"
Mateo nods in agreement getting up also
"Got it, let me get the groundbridge gun from Derek get dress then we can go."
"Got it Mateo"
As Aubrey went to her bathroom to get ready, Mateo goes over to Derek's door, hears all the metal being welded from behind it and knocks.
Hearing the noise stop, Mateo hears Derek's voice from inside
"Come in!"
Mateo opens the door, going in as Derek was at his table, goggles on with grease covering his body
"What do you need amigo?"
"Well, got a letter about Bumblebee wanting us to meet his new team and all, I was wondering if we can borrow your groundbridge gun?"
