Mateo walks up ahead with Bumblebee as Bulkhead (who decided to tag along) and Arcee follow behind them.
As Mateo starts to question his life choices on this team, he sees Bumblebee grab a metal pole like object from the scrap metal around the area from the corner of his covered eyes.
He watches as Bumblebee seemingly tests it out and walks over to the cliff with it.
Mateo raises an eyebrow and looks over to the others
"He seems to have this handled..."
Arcee looks at them
"Prime did appoint him as leader while Megatron and Him were away"
Mateo blinks, looking back
"That's what I hear...."
"So this is where Derek last found them?"
Bulkhead questions Mateo
Mateo pulls out the gps Derek gave them
"That's what it says, Derek is almost never wrong..."
As they were talking, Bubblebee looks down to see energon drips on the ground and examines it and looks back up.
"Well from these energon splatters, meaning that he was wounded..."
The team gets towards the edge
"And we weren't the ones who wounded him..."
As on cue, Mateo feels the ground shake from below them, looking up to see a certain Predacon he kinda didn't want to see again.
Mateo backed away a bit, as the Bulkhead and Arcee pull out there blasters at Predaking.
"Shit....Why did I agree to this!!" Mateo thinks to themselves as Predaking charges up a blast.
"HOLD FIRE!"
Mateo blinks, hearing Bumblebee tell the bots behind him.
"Huh?" Mateo thought, looking back at bumblebee as he walks closer to Predaking and shows them the metal pole object to them.
""Recognize this Predaking!" Bubblebee starts
Predaking growls in response but soon listens to them
"You served aboard Megatron's warship, surely your familiar with this little treasure from his vault!" Bumblebee says to them
"The immobilizer"
Mateo raises an eyebrow
"The immobilizer? What is Bumblebee going at?" Mateo thinks to themselves, listening to the conservation again
"It causes immediate stasis lock, though the mind is still conscious....a living death" Bubblebee finishes
Predaking growls in response
Mateo watches as Bubblebee crouches down with the metal like pole
"But we didn't come here to fight...your highness"
Mateo nods in response as he looks towards Predaking as they transform to there bot mode.
"Then why have you vide my refuge autobots" Predaking questions us
Mateo clears his throat, nervousness shaking his body a bit.
"Predaking you might recognize me from before right?" Mateo starts walking over
Predaking looks towards Mateo in recognition
"Yes, you were with that metallic fleshly that stopped that war from before."
Mateo nods in satisfaction
"Well, we are back with another mission that we are currently trying to find out what wrong."
Mateo sighs a bit
"Do you know any other Predacons around here?"
"Indeed, legions of them"
Predaking shows what's behind them
"Behold, my subjects...countless multitude, rendering extinct ages ago since the catastrophe in some, unearthed shifting of plates during our planet's restoration"
Mateo nods a bit
"So he doesn't know about the other two..."
Mateo's looks over to them again
"Well Predaking, we are here because we found out there are two more of your kind around here.
Mateo looks to the side
"Ultra Magnus and Smokescreen was fighting them around the main area when me and my friends saved them before nothing serious could happen."
Mateo taps his chin while looking at them
"Do you know anything about that your highness?
Mateo eyes look down a bit
"If I know Derek he is probably trying to get them on the equal side..."
Predaking eyes go wide a bit at what Mateo said
"Two? Where?" Predaking questions Mateo
"Well Predaking, Derek found out they resided in one of Shockaves secret labs...probably being his cocky self while doing it..." Mateo mummurs towards the last bit
"For revenge?" Predaking questions
Mateo eyes go wide at that accusation
"Of course not! Me and my friends don't want another war to happen, right bots?"
Mateo looks back at them, eyes twitching behind the mask of his.
The bots nod after a bit of hesitation
Mateo sighs, knowing darn well they are afraid of the Predacons becoming a problem again
"Well, the autobots might not be so convinced but me and my friends want us to be equal, and knowing Derek, he wants that too....
Mateo looks in the eyes
"If you don't want to help us, that's fine, if you do then that's fine also."
Mateo starts to walk off, call the other with his hand to follow.
"I hope you'll become equal with us....
(Outside of the area)
Mateo and the others start to walk out of site of Predaking, Bumblebee looks down at them
"You handled that pretty well Mateo.."
Mateo sighs in relief
"Thanks, my nerves were shot!"
Mateo then realizes something
"I've been hanging out with Derek to much" Mateo deadpans while the others snicker a bit at that.
He soon feels vibrating from his pants leg, finding out that it was his phone ringing.
"Huh?"
He sees that it's Derek calling them and picks up the phone
"Hello? How did it go?"
"Mateo, Smokescream and Tanya found something..."
