After Bow drove them to Adora's house, they said their goodbyes. Bow had left his car parked out in front of Adora's house in advance so he could drive both him and Glimmer home afterwards.

After Adora snuck her and Catra inside through the back door, they took off their wet shoes, and placed them near the door. They made sure to hide them a bit, just in case anyone were to wake up and see them.

After stumbling a bit and stifling laughter, they made it towards Adora's bedroom. It smelled of baby powder and fresh linen, the scent hitting Catra's nose strongly. She and Adora dried off quickly and made small talk, "That was fun." Said Adora as she tugged her hair tie, and released the strands from the ponytail.

Catra couldn't help but admire the wet, blonde locs that fell along her shoulders and upper back, "Yeah, I definitely would go to another."

Adora smiled before perking up a bit, "Oh! I have some clothes you could borrow- to sleep in." Adora went toward her dresser and pulled out an old oversized t-shirt with unreadable text on it.

She turned to Catra, "Shorts or pants?"

"Pants." Catra responded before looking around the bedroom a bit more. There were a bunch of small collectables on her nightstand and some photos of her friends next to a blue polaroid camera.

After a moment Adora handed her the t-shirt and Hello Kitty patterned pajama pants, "Those are probably the only pants that I own that will fit you...I've had them since I was 12." Adora looked a bit sheepish, but Catra only shrugged.

"Thanks." Catra began to strip her clothing when Adora gasped and turned around quickly.

"I-I'll just go to the b-bathroom!" Adora went beet red and scooped up some pj's before basically sprinting toward her bathroom.

Catra only chuckled as she slid off her clothes. She debated taking her undergarments off as well. She thought it would be weird and opted for dealing with the damp underwear. Her pants were thick enough material so it wasn't that bad.

When Adora came back in a black tank top and red plaid shorts that were just a tad bit too small, Catra was already cozy in Adora's bed. Adora sucked in a sharp inhale before turning off the lights and joining her.

If Catra wasn't busy staring at the Burger Shop game on her phone, she would definitely be able to see Adora's blush illuminating off of her face from the brightness of the screen.

Adora was facing away, but they were pretty close since it was only a twin size bed. Eventually she heard the familiar 'click' and the light from the screen dissipated. She could feel and hear shuffling beside her before Catra settled in a position, and drifted off into sweet dreams- Adora hopes.

When Adora fluttered her eyes open, adjusting to her familiar surroundings, she almost forgot about the previous night. She could feel a calming warmth near her, causing her to glance at the source.

Her heart fluttered and it was filled with warmth- Catra picked up on the sound of her pounding heartbeat in her sleep. She soon woke up and smiled at the blonde. Somehow during the night Adora must've turned over, and Catra curled into her, tangling their limbs together in an endless knot of warmth.

"Morning." Adora said quietly with a bit of a raspy voice. It was about 7:00 AM, and Adora's family would be up soon, meaning Adora probably had to take Catra home within the next ten minutes.

"G'morning." They stared at each other for just a moment longer before the loud breeze outside of the open window sort of knocked them out of their gaze.

"We better get going." Adora sat up to stretch a bit before leaving the cozy haven under blankets and sheets, and she slid on some crocs and grabbed her keys from her dresser.

"Yeah, my parents will probably check in on me soon." Catra had gotten up and gathered her clothing before they quietly snuck out back and toward the driveway.

Catra made sure to grab her shoes from the door before they left. The drive was quiet but peaceful. Catra didn't live super far, but it did surprise Adora how big her house was. Adora pulled up in front of the house and looked at Catra.

Her hair was wild and a bit dry. Adora was sure hers didn't look much better though, "So, I'll see you Monday at school." Adora said with a small smile.

Catra nodded, "Yeah. Text me though, cause', I guess you're not that boring to hang out with." Catra didn't try to hide the smile that was forming on her face, or the fact that if her heart were to beat, it would be pounding out of her chest right now.

Catra finally got out of Adora's car and made her way inside her house. Luckily her parents were busy with something out in the back garden and didn't notice. She quickly got changed, knowing her parents would check on her soon.

Catra made sure to take one of her pills, along with a cup of animal blood so she would be able to quench her thirst, and appear as if she were human. It was tough to keep up with from time to time, but she made it work.

The pills were a huge help. She'd feel warm, be able to hide her red irises, and keep her fangs retracted. The only moments her natural vampire attributes came out were when she was super thirsty, and was about to strike, or if she had gotten in a super lusty mood.

Luckily Catra could control herself around others. Though she was a bit worried since of course she found a certain blue eyed blondie very attractive, she could normally shut off any crude thoughts or fantasies before they got out of hand.

Adora could not stop her mind from thinking about Catra. When she was busy chopping up veggies for lunch, she thought of her. When she was watching TV, her mind went back to Catra. Even when she was studying economics, her mind thought about those blue and brown-amber eyes.

Adora eventually couldn't take it anymore; she opened her messages, and went to the now pinned conversation.

<<<Hey!

After a few minutes, the chat bubble that indicated that she was typing showed up.

hey Adora>>>

whatcha up to??>>>

<<<Nothing just bored

<<<U?

After another couple of minutes, Adora's heart and brain nearly stopped working as she read the next response over a few times.

ft?>>>

Adora didn't even respond before her fingers hit the button, and her phone was making the familiar ringtone noise. Catra picked up almost immediately and smiled.

"There's that familiar ray of sunshine." Catra said as her face appeared on the screen. Adora could tell that from her shoulders up, she changed into something else.

Adora blushed slightly, "Well it seems that you're doing well. Your parents didn't catch you sneaking in, I presume?"

Of course Catra had earbuds, she didn't want anyone hearing her conversation, she nodded, "Yeah, thanks by the way."

"Oh, it was nothing. Anyway, I was hoping we could hang out again?" Catra smirked and nodded slowly, looking over the blonde's features.

"What were you thinking, Princess?" Adora looked surprised at the sudden nickname.

"Princess?" Adora looked a bit exasperated.

"Yeah, you just remind me of one, that's all." Adora nodded in deep thought.

"Well anyway, what if we just hang out...like, get to know each other better."

Who knew that after their hang out, they'd be inseparable. They became instant best friends and hung out all the time since. They were the first to know anything, and practically shared all of their belongings.

Of course neither knew of the other's budding feelings for one another...
