I love you.

Three words that held so much power and so much meaning.

Adora wanted to say those three words...so, so badly. She almost did a couple of times too. It took all of her being to not say them to her beautiful girlfriend.

They were currently taking a break from battling each other on Just Dance 2016. The deal was whoever won the next and last round, had to buy them food the next time they decided to go out to eat.

Catra just obliterated her in Hey Mama. It was mostly due to Adora ogling at her girlfriend as she hit the moves perfectly. Also Adora was a bit awkward when it came to dancing.

"So, what should we do now?" Catra's voice broke Adora from her own thoughts.

"Whatever you want." Adora turned and smiled at the curly-haired brunette.

Catra smirked before straddling Adora on the couch and wrapping her arms around her neck. Adora instinctively wrapped her arms around Catra's waist, heat rising to her cheeks and down her chest.

They met each other's eyes before Catra leaned close to whisper in her ear, "Whatever I want?"

Adora nodded and let out a strangled hum, "Anything."

Catra sat up straight again, her smirk turned devious as she raised both of her brows, "Romance novels." Adora frowned and groaned into Catra's neck, causing the brunette to giggle from the vibrations.

"Noo! How about we build the new Lego set I bought instead? It's supposed to be a bouquet of flowers!"

Catra shook her head no, "Don't you just want quiet time with a book, cuddling your hot girlfriend?"

Adora deadpanned, "You know it's like physically impossible for me to relax, right."

Catra got close to her ear again, smirking, "I bet that won't be a problem if I'm around."

Adora visibly gulped, "Catra! Your seduction will not convince me this time!"

Catra chuckled beautifully, "Oh Adora, that's what you always say right before it works. But if you want we can compromise. Thirty minutes for reading and cuddles, thirty to build your flowers."

Adora brightened immediately, "Alright."

Catra stood up and held her hand out for Adora to take, "Vamos señorita!"

After another day spent with her vivacious girlfriend, Catra returned home.

"Hola mama. I need a refill on my pills." Catra sat on the kitchen island as her mother rearranged their junk drawer for the millionth time.

"Sorry hija, I couldn't get any from Jasper. He said the new shipment will arrive in a week or so." Her mother cursed under her breath, something about the damn dumbass workers on the other side of the world.

"What am I supposed to do? I took my last one today! I have school a-and-" She was cut off by her mother.

"Shhh, cálmate hija. I'm sure it won't be long. I'll call the school and let them know you're sick."

"And Adora? She'll worry and try to come comfort me and bring me gifts!" Catra was exasperated at the news. She couldn't just shut Adora out, but she couldn't risk her girlfriend's or her family's safety.

"I'm sorry mi Catrita." Her mother crooned. Catra knew her mother did truly feel for her, she used her affectionate nickname.

"Okay mami." The young vampire frowned before her mother cupped her cheek and gave her a small kiss on the forehead.

Catra barely slept that night. She turned her phone off to avoid trying to text her girlfriend. She knew Adora would catch on right away.

When she awoke from her restless slumber that probably consisted of about three hours of sleep total, she already knew she couldn't leave the house.
