Alya crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes as she watched Marinette and Adrien talking to each other in front of the school. Adrien was rubbing the back of his neck while Marinette giggled into her hand, then they were both peering into her purse and laughing together. Nino hadn't shown up yet so she made her way over to them. Once she was standing next to her best friend she placed her hands on her hips and settled her stare on Adrien.

"So, this is a new development, one minute Chat Noir is screaming over the phone and the next my Maribug is showing Tikki off to you." She urged as she nudged Marinette with her elbow.

"Sorry Alya." Marinette smiled at the other girl as she slipped a cookie into her purse, "I meant to call you back but then..." She waved at Adrien absently and shrugged.

"She knows you know." Adrien chuckled nervously as he spoke. "I uh, I told her everything yesterday."

"I feel like I'm missing something." The three turned to see Nino standing a few steps below them. Alya gave her boyfriend a bright smile as she skipped down to him.

"Adrien just told Marinette how much he wanted her to move back in with him because sunshine boy is lonely." She told him as she slipped her arm through his. "It was very sweet."

"I could've told her that months ago." Nino chuckled as he adjusted his hat on his head. "Did you know he still calls it your home?" He asked Marinette.

"Nino!" Adrien exclaimed, his face turning a bright shade of pink as he did so.

There was only a few moments left before the bell rang, they spent those laughing as Adrien attempted to stop Nino from telling all about how he tried to figure out a way to get her back to his home, attempts that failed horribly as the young DJ went into detail on everything. The bell ringing was a godsend for Adrien who took Marinette by the hand with no thoughts as to who all would see them together.

The one who spotted them first filled the halls with her shrieking screams.

Chloe stood at the top of the stairs leading to the classrooms. Her face flushed red as she shrieked incoherently and pointed at the two holding hands. Adrien looked up at her with a subtle furrow to his brow and a not so subtle frown on his lips. His childhood friend was coming down the stairs at them looking as if they had just murdered babies in front of her and he couldn't figure out why.

"You let go of my Adrikins right now!" The sound of Chloe's hand across Marinette's cheek followed the shouted order. Adrien winced and pulled his girlfriend behind him to separate the two girls so Chloe couldn't cause anymore damage to her precious face. He turned his attention on the other blonde then and glared at her so ferociously that the spoiled mayors daughter took a step back.

"How dare you hit her Chloe." He began, pointing an accusing finger at her with his free hand. "You had no right to-"

"Adrien. I've got this." Marinette, one cheek turning a striking shade of red, slipped out of his grasp and stepped in between him and the girl who just attacked her. "What right do you have to come down here and scream just because I'm holding hands with my boyfriend?" Her tone was like that of a mother gently berating a child, but her body language told Adrien she was ready to throw down with the other girl if needed. He had seen that confident stance enough while they were in their masks to know.

"Ha! Adrikins doesn't wear enough leather to be your boy toy." At that Adrien went pale, did she know about him flirting with Marinette as Chat Noir? "Sabrina!" Chloe shrieked to summon the red headed girl to her side. "Show him the video." Sabrina fumbled with her phone after the sharp order was given, and held it up to show them the screen where a video of Marinette and Kid on her motorcycle played. "See, she's with that biker and cheating on him with you. They live together so you KNOW she isn't pure."
